Curseforge Announcement

Hello my angels! I'm not sure if you all caught the Sims Summit (if you missed it you're not missing much tbh) but they did announce their new partnership with Curseforge! This will be the FREE and OPTIONAL EA/Maxis approved app that works with your game and allows you to download, update and manage your cc. I guess its kinda like TSR but built with more built in features, I'll link a video below with more info.

So what does this mean?

So yeah, I'm part of the 'Mod Squad' (Also didnt realise that was our official name lol) who are a small amount of creators they're using to populate and test the new platform.

My Patreon release schedule will remain as it is, all my CC will be available here to you all and nothing is really going to change with how I create and share my content via patreon/socials. It just means it'll eventually be uploaded to this new place after early access.

I am also maybe thinking of some using curseforge as both an archive of all my public content as well as somwhere I can also upload 1 off 'Boutique' items, for example if I made a dress but wanted a version with a different sleeve or minor detail edit, I'd launch them on both curseforge and patreon at the same time as a free item? maybe? Honestly just gonna roll with it and see how it goes.

SO to summarise: If you like my cc and have no interest in this new thing then you'll never have to worry about it. If you want to use this new app my CC will also be available on there, but most likely you'll already have it!
