Examples in this episode: - A rat hunted by a cat accompanied the image of him buying bread in town. while at the same time he was 'hunted' by people through the town as well [“It doesn’t matter whether it is a black or a white cat. As long as it can catch the rat, it is a good cat.”] - When the fish jumped out of the river when the police arrived. ["Fish out of water" is an idiom that describes someone who is in an unfamiliar and uncomfortable situation. ]

Others I'd recommend are King's Avatar, A Will Eternal, Spare Me Great Lord (all 2d animations). For 3d cgi I recommend Swallowed Star, Renegade Immortal, Demon Hunter. Once you gondown the rabbit hole you won't come out!

2025-06-28 21:20:50 +0000 UTCThe Light novel from which the anime is adapted is one of the crown jewels of light novels.. sadly the other crown jewels wont get adaptations because they deal with dark topics.. infact 1 of them was banned by the Chinese government.. because it was too popular and it created and showcased opinions and thoughts that the CCP didn't agree with. The top three books.. 1. Reverend Insanity (insanely dark, Banned after 1500 chapters) 2. Lord of the mysteries (Second book is ongoing and is the most family friendly) 3. Renegade immortal (Its dark, but its a mix of the first two, and the author of the book is a very famous writer who has written 4 other books in the same league.) Also if you find this sort of anime fascinating and want to delve into Chinese Donghuas more i highly recommend King's Avatar its an Esports Anime.. with great animation and has a similar concept to Solo leveling + Overlord + SAO... its also adapted from a very popular light novel. I highly recommend watching that if you can.
