2021-11-04 23:20:52 +0000 UTCYeah, Yi-Seo does manipulate Geun-soo sometimes bc she knows he likes her. However, I've read that some sociopaths tend to make sure everything and everyone around them can be used for their own benefit, and they often don't think about how others would feel afterward. It's like selfishness mixed with psychopathic mindsets to me. It doesn't help that the way her mom raised her was a bit flawed in that despite the doctor telling her that Yi-Seo was a sociopath, the mom never tried to raise her to combat her sociopathic tendencies. I feel like it would've been better for her to actively raise Yi-seo to be less manipulative, but her mom was so upset about the way her own life went, that she thought of Yi-Seo's unhealthy obsession with winning as a good thing. And Yi-seo even called her out for that when she was young in that flashback from a previous episode. Nevertheless, Yi-Seo's character is very interesting to me.
