2021-06-18 10:20:13 +0000 UTCKorea's Korean name is 대한민국. But English name is Korea. The name "Goryeo", which is the source of the name "Korea". Goryeo was a Korean kingdom founded in 918. And in Korea, we don't change woman's family name after marriage. So Hae Soo's cousin is called Lade Hae.

Therefore, same last name doesn't really make Lady Hae and Hae Soo as mother-daughter relationship. Also, Goryeo's royal family surname is Wang so 8th prince can't be Hae Soo's father. I laughed so hard when you went back to see who Lady Hae is but you didn't wait until Lady Hae tells Hae Soo that Lady Hae is her 6th cousin.

2021-06-18 05:46:32 +0000 UTCYou will notice that there's numbers is missing when they talk about the brothers, it's because mostly they died or their characters are not important, for example: the 2nd prince is dead (there are 25 prince!) but only 8 of them are mentioned (the 1st the crown prince, the 3rd/ 4/7 (the husband of IU's cousin)/9/10 (Baekhyun)/ 13/ 14 (the one who's really tall and always fighting with Baekhyun)

(you will find out which prince is the son of which wife soon). BTW, they are called by numbers so eg. 10th Prince (the childish Baekhyun) is actually older than the 14th Prince (the maknae but is very tall XD )

2021-06-17 05:25:33 +0000 UTCThe drama is about the rise of goryeo kingdom so I will state some of background history about Korea there was three kingdom which are (goryeo, Silla and baekje) it was mentioned in the drama so the king taejon (the king in the drama) is the king of goryeo who united the three kingdom and Korea was derived from goryeo so after uniting the 3 kingdom he replaced Goryeo with the new state of Joseon which is the last dynastic kingdom and the longest. Everything in the drama is based on historical fact expect IU character.

This drama has such good story and its just so much better knowing that it is based on a real story except Hae soo story.
