Actually Viserys' parents were siblings I think and Aemma, his first wife was his first cousin, she was half Targ half Arryn, that's why she had silver hair lol

Omg I’m so happy!!! Team Rhaenyra always!!! I HATE Alicent lol i know she didn’t have much choice. Otto pulls her strings. I’ll tell you more why later lol also the Targaryens are very very incestual most of them marry their brothers and sisters. Aegon the conqueror married both his sisters lol 😂 they say one was for duty and one was for lust 🤮also Christon Cole is a knight so he can’t father children well not legitimate ones anyway. They take no wives etc etc thank you for spoiling us. I’m so happy!

I am down with it being called Targaryen Tetanus. That's pro branding there. Also, an important point to note is that Daemon's sword, Dark Sister, is a very important sword. It's a Valyrian steel sword made by Aegon the Conquerer for his sister-wife Visenya Targaryen. So when he offers it up upon "surrendering" it's like handing over a piece of Targaryen history.

Best day ever, you guys ROCK My favorite part of this episode is when everyone is disgusted by how bloody & gross Rhaenyra is as she’s walking back to camp, dead boar being dragged behind her, EXCEPT for Harwin “Breakbones” Strong who thinks it’s amusing I agree there was something between Rhaenyra & Alicent besides friendship. Maybe not dating exactly, but perhaps if Alicent hadn’t married Viserys their relationship would have gone that way, or at least they could’ve stayed bff’s. They had a strong, loving bond that was broken The song Rhaenyra had Samwell singing on repeat in the godswood was about Princess Nymeria who ruled in Dorne for over 20 years. It was also a lesson about Nymeria that Rhaenyra tore from a book in the godswood & gave to Alicent “to remember” in episode 1 Larys Strong has a club foot, it keeps him from hunting but allows him to sit with the women & gossip, hearing a lot of info men normally don’t Christon Cole wouldn’t have had children. Knights of the Kingsguard are sworn to celibacy so they won’t have families to divide their loyalty to the throne Fun fact about Pugs - they originate from ancient China. They were war & guard dogs (they used to be bigger) & were taught to sleep on the lap of the Emperor. I think the Dutch brought them to Europe but I don’t know how they got to Westeros 😁

The Lannister twins are played by the same guy and he was in GoT (Jon Aryn's squire that got killed off by the Mountain before Ned could question him)

The intro is meant to represent the Targaryen family tree - it shows their blood lines flowing through the model of Old Valyria, I believe. It's kind of cool later on as more characters are added. I think each character is represented by a little icon.
