David Lynch‘s artist film and one of his real best was actually a G rated drama about a guyand his lawnmower think it was called the straight story really great and not crazy like most of the vothers

Great reaction, second time for me watching this movie and I enjoyed it just as much as the first. Also something interesting is when the Cowboy appears the light turns on and when he leaves it goes off... "electricity"

There's an R.E.M song, Electrolite, that name checks lots of Hollywood locations & people, and whenever I read the title of this movie I sing it aloud 🎵 Mull-Holland Drive🎵 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkGLaw8nvag

After watching this for the (9th?) time, I see the same thing, and that's what a Lynch film is... it's brushstrokes, open for individual interpretation. There's a cruel realty to Hollywood, and that's what I see, every time. David Lynch was like the total antithesis of what Hollywood normally represents. Some say he WAS Hollywood

And Old Friend of the Christie's.

MD is still one of the greatest films I've ever seen, and it was fun watching it with you, a true Lynch fan, today. Watch it a few more times and let us know what you think! :)

Lmao your bewilderment for the last 30 mins was perfect, that's how most ppl feel I think on first watch 😂 I swear you haven't really seen the film and understand most of it until like 3-5 watches haha

When Badalementi's theme starts playing during earlier scenes and towards the end, you can feel the hope of Naomi Watts' character: endless possibilities, love, dreams, innocence. And when all of that is stripped away in the end, there is a realization of the contrary. I think you are a very sensitive person and you pick up on this very quickly and that's what makes you emotional even when you don't know what is actually happening. It is like an instinct which is triggered by music.
