The bit with the orderly at the start cracks me up every time. 🤣 Like I said in your last live, it felt odd having peeping tom Alfred in place of your typical final girl. When the Weinstein crap came out it made sense. Kinda' feels like he wrote the character to be his pervy stand in. The raft scene is a classic. I felt for Cropsy though. It'd be hard not to be consumed by pure rage given everything. The ruins were an old copper mine the crew found. I bought bootleg tapes of The Burning and The Prowler uncut back in the early days of the internet. DVD was in it's infancy and good releases of lesser known films were far off. The Prowler has my favorite Savini kills and is the better movie for me. Now that I've seen more slashers than there are mosquitoes in a swamp, I'd rank The Burning much lower on my list than I used to. Others that I first saw around that time like Sleepaway Camp and The Initiation are still major favorites though. The girl counselor Leah Ayres shares my birthday. Also have to admit Glazer is a cool name.
