Gosh... has it been six weeks already?! Phew!
Hi folks!
So I know I always say I'm going to keep it short but this week I really am. I'm also not going to do "The Numbers" this time because the changes are all on scene 4, and will be for probably the next three or four weeks.
Hold on to your pants, folks! Exciting times are ahead!
Jokes aside, it's just that this is one of our more complicated scenes in a heavy environment with generally no less than three people in a render. Because the renders are so heavy, they are also taking a bit more time than the usual (3-4 hours each). I'm actually creating a backlog for myself in my render queue for the first time and it feels weird. Starting to add renders in at night with renders that still aren't finished from the night before seems off. I know this is just a normal thing so I'll get used to it. Adding another 3090 to the mix will help some, but until I can get another I need to get better at using some of that time for more than just rendering. That being said, I may take some time this weekend to write, code and work on the GUI while I just let Daz do it's thing and play catch up.
So at a glance, we currently have 30 renders complete of 50 posed. I'll be posing more tonight. I figure that this scene will have around 200 renders, so we are on track for the month that I estimated it would take. Although, the rendering may still be going for a week after all of the posing is done.
Puggy should have another couple of animations done in the next few weeks and then he'll be able to move on to some of the earlier scenes which are hopefully a bit easier than the ones we chose to start him with. So, I feel good there.
I'll bring "The Numbers" back next week as we'll actually have some movement on it then.
Have a fantastic weekend folks and thank you as always for your support!
Wilson
