After doing some reading, it seems that the safest way to handle things is to switch over to the “charge upfront” method. So a customary heads up message that my Patreon switched over to this system!
This won’t affect already pledged patrons at all, but any prospecting ones or patrons who plan on leaving and possibly coming back later will be charged up front when pledging and won’t have to wait til the next month rolls around to be charged for the first time. This change is happening immediately.
Also, read up on some rules and found out some things that narrowed down possible changes to the patreon tiers. Got a new idea in the works, and i’ll present it soon. I am also going to try and get the reward tiers updated when my Patreon’s Birthday month (September) rolls around!
