To what you were talking about at the end of the review. It was supposedly the plan at one point for season 3 to cover both arc 5 and arc 6 from the LNs. 16 episodes for arc 5 (which we just finished), and then another 2 cours for arc 6. But due to production issues it was decided to split them into both a season 3 and 4. This is however, mostly a rebrand. Both arcs were greenlit at the same time and are under the same production pipeline. Which is why we already got a season 4 teaser, and why it *hopefully* wont be as long a wait for the next season, as Re Zero has traditionally had.
