The Galena was a hunk of rusted nomad junk and might have seemed to anyone with working eyes like it was nothing but another scrapyard skeleton to toss onto the piles. For Lana, it was only a few spare parts away from being the one-way ticket she needed to drive herself out of this rotten shithole of a city to somewhere far, far away. Anywhere else. She dragged her new steed over to the first spot she could find at the landfill, patched it up as best as she could, and got it running long enough for the computer to ping its previous owner, V.

When he arrived to check out what became of his ride, V somehow wasn't pissed over the fact this girl was laying claim to it. In fact, more impressed by her repairs than his stonefaced reaction suggested, he swallowed some of his nomad pride and allowed her to have his old "Rattler" for the sake of passing the torch. Not like he was gonna have much use for it soon with the way things were going trying to pry the Relic from his skull.

But nothing's ever so easy or cheap for anyone in Night City. Not even with a combination of crazy luck and charity on your side. The camshaft and timing chain were done, and Lana was a whole sack of eddies short of buying these last few pieces to the puzzle, even if it was still much cheaper than a whole new car. But V was a merc, wasn't he? He had to have a lead on where she could make some good scratch in a hurry.

The very next night, Lizzie's Bar saw a pretty new face nervously shuffling through the doors and making a beeline for the back halls where V and Judy awaited. Susie Q and the rest of the Moxes were hardly the charitable types, but they were somewhat more receptive to boys and girls who could make them some quick eddies and promptly fuck off to whatever hole they crawled out from.

V and Judy guided the new one-night joytoy to one of the private bedrooms in the back, provided her a braindance recorder, and introduced her to two more of Judy's friends she'd be working with tonight, Fat Rich and Ty Steele. The three men got their own BD recorders rolling before peeling their clothes off and quickly closing in to grab some of the fine piece of greasebunny ass who came in ready to earn a stack of eddies the old-fashioned way: on her knees with no "holes" barred. It wasn't long at all before six plus inches of Rich's famous monster slid past Lana's lips and tested her gag reflex more than any guy ever had before. A "ride" for a ride seemed as fair of a deal as any in this fucking cesspit, and who was gonna give a shit about her making some dirty movies after she drives off into the sunset?

Another novel from yours truly. At least it didn't end with pregnancy! For now.
