I guess they're kind of action themed? lol. The plan was to do a more action centric anime to counter the more 'grounded' vibe of haikyuu.

imo their initial audience has grown out of liking wholesome shounen + mha focuses more on emotional conflicts than the fights. so they keep ragging on it during the slower seasons and the image stuck on how mha 'fell off' and its been the anime community punching bag fsr. its so much easier if everyone just admits something is no longer for them and doesnt mean its bad. same, im so excited for the final season Bones been cookingg

I can understand people not liking it or maybe they got tired of it, but the way I keep seeing people labeling as generic when, imo, I don't really see it as that. Also, the way people throw out the word "generic" without even having finished the whole show is just- 💀 and no, I haven't read the manga (I've been spoiled with some things tho) but I've always enjoyed the show since the beginning and my love for it just kept growing with each season! :')

2024-10-18 06:07:04 +0000 UTCi think most people's complaints with mha is that they keep wanting it to be a different show that it intended to be, aside from s7 being their peak season ever, in general it stays true with the show's themes from the start until the end. idk if ur a manga reader but i have a new appreciation for mha after finishing the whole thing in one go, the hate is so exaggerated.

I voted for SpyxFamily because it does have action but it's also pretty funny too. Maybe in a future anime poll, you can add Ranma 1/2, you would love that show and a remake version is currently airing on Netflix right now.

2024-10-16 19:04:02 +0000 UTCI was gonna say I LOVE HxH but just be prepared it’s one of the longer ones (148 eps) but then I realized a lot of shounen animes are technically long if you actually count the eps but, for some reason, the fact that they’re divided up into seasons doesn’t make it *seem* long to me, even tho they actually are overall. 😂 I think it’s VERY worth it tho (it’s in my top three animes) but just be prepared for a slow beginning, which I’ve noticed puts people off but I personally loved it from the start. Also, I think you’ll like the mc, basing off of the type of characters you seem to like! JJK and MHA also have my votes tho! People seem to label MHA as generic nowadays but I just finished s7 and I just love the types of themes/topics this anime portrays that can also be in reality (it’s hard to get what I mean until you’ve watched it but that’s all I’m gonna say 😂).
