Where do you watch patreon videos?
Added 2024-10-09 02:25:22 +0000 UTCpatreon is stopping '1st of the month' subsciptions and going to start doing 'day of' charges (meaning you can join the 7th and pay the 7th each month VS what i do, which is the first of every month).
The reason i personally do this is because it's much easier to track monthly requests this way. It's always the first of the month and i can make sure people don't trick & request something twice a month, ya know? Plus it's hard to constantly check if someone sends a request and i miss it. It just makes it easier if everyone is charged at the same time. I do this all alone and it's difficult to keep track of everything if people request at random times.
BUT, they're going to stop doing this and i need to change over to the new subscription. I can delay it until next year, however that means IOS users can't join patreon. I need to know if I should just change it next month or delay it. I want to gauge what most people use.
I personally never use the app to watch anything. I use my laptop, but maybe more people do than i realize.

you can delay until november next year but it seems like it'd be a big risk to hold off that long. So i am thinking of waiting until january, just to make it a more natural shift since it'll be the new year. It also gives me time to figure out a better way to submit requests :)

2024-10-10 21:04:59 +0000 UTCI use my laptop to watch your reactions and I mostly use my laptop when it comes to watching stuff on Youtube in general. However, I do use my phone if I'm on vacation and I don't have a laptop. I do see quite a few people do use the IOS app. I guess you can delay it if you need more time to prepare but when will they force you to switch? The first of the year?
