Looking back at the 7th page from the 2nd NIMO comic, I wanted to share this panel where I overused the cross-hatching technic, making the scene darker visually. First image is the reworked version without, then the original you saw published. Same with the line art.
Oddly I lost the sketch layer, so I cannot show it, but you got the original Storyboard version, very rough, which is the very first visual draft of the panel ever!

You're right, and in the original concept, the Nimo comic series is a dark SciFi story, so I wanted dark setting. The technique used was so time consuming I changed my plans, but the original scenario doesn't change for sure. Thanks for the lovely words, Luis! ♥
