Heat 0.7.0.1 - New resort map!
Added 2025-01-18 21:10:05 +0000 UTCThis month we're released a new map! This one has been in the works for a while and is custom made by Sidekick and Drake. This map is a lovely beach resort you can relax in. It's our first outdoor map and features open air so characters can be scaled very large!
We're also working on various features to make the game play smoother and less janky for a next fest demo for Steam. Please provide your feedback in the forum in the Discord server!

2025-01-19 11:55:20 +0000 UTCI don't know how long I waited, maybe 5 minutes, and then i killed it with taskmanager. My system is usually very fast (RTX 3060 Ti and Core i7 2,9GHz, 16GiB RAM). The weird thing is that for all other rooms, the "Go" button usually freezes the game for 1-2 seconds while it is actually processing/starting the scene. For the beach, the "Go" button is perfectly responsive, it makes a click sound, and you can also scroll through the tips. You can move the hand, and even look around in the "loading screen room". It is like the button has no click-event attached to it.

2025-01-19 11:48:56 +0000 UTCSame here, took like 3 min to load in. (Desktop Mode BTW, not even VR this time) Definitely a bad sign as I am running a 7950X3D, M.2 SSD, 32GB DDR5, & RTX4090. Which can usually brute force its way through general poor optimization faster than that.

2025-01-19 01:38:59 +0000 UTCDoesn't work for me. I can load the bedroom like normal, but when I want to go to the beach, I get stuck at the "Loading finished [Go]" screen. And clicking "Go" doesn't do anything. Process is running with 17% CPU, 12GB private bytes, 6GB working set. The app is responsitive. It does not hang. Other areas such as the bathroom load perfectly. File integrity was checked, is OK
