Status update Episode 4

The $5 tier hasn't had the chance to play it yet, so I will keep my posts spoiler free until they do (Friday 30th August).
This week has been all about dealing with the aftermath of the Episode 3 release.
I'm very happy with the overall result, but I did release a patch to take care of the intermittent crashes players of low end PCs experienced. I've done all I can and if your PC is still crashing, with the new version (v0.3.1), it doesn't meet the requirements needed to play Being a DIK.
I've also added an Easy mode to Brawler, since it proved to be too hard for a subset of players. I will continue to fine-tune Brawler when/if needed.
In other news, I'm in the early stages of starting the development of Episode 4.
This means I will reduce my online presence to focus and write dialogue. Thank you for all DMs and comments, sadly I don't have time to answer all of them because I need to develop the game, but I do appreciate and read them.
The upcoming Episode 4 will be the final episode of the so called Season. I will release more details about what this will mean later on.
This weekend will be all about posing animations and building my animation PC (from the 2000 patrons milestone). I'm really excited about this!
The first poll for the next episode will start early September. There will be several interesting animation polls right from the start.

At the moment the new software have a 25% speed increase using this technology and with future improvements they estimate it to go up to 100% faster.

2019-08-31 15:56:23 +0000 UTCA 5 second animation includes 150 frames @30fps. I render each frame for maximum 2 hours to achieve my quality. That's 300 hours = 12.5 days for one animation. My last update had 99 animations. If you think this sounds unfeasible, you should educate yourself about game development with DAZ3D. It's very insulting to insinuate that I'm lying.

I found that after a little bit of practice, I'm talking 5 mins, you could beat hard without ever going to the store. After that, it just gets easier and easier until its barely a challenge at all. I don't know what the reward would perhaps some more money? Idk just found hard wasnt that hard.
