Waifu Warz! February 2024

Hello! This one is a little more different than the other "gimmick"-y polls I've done recently. It's also probably the last one of these for a while, next month will be a normal poll with normal options. 

Vote for which story you would like to see either remade from the ground up or given some form of spiritual successor!

This is a little difficult to put into a single nippy sentence, so allow me to 🗣️yap🗣️ a bit about what I have in mind for each one, should they win the poll...

In general, "remade from the ground up" means that virtually no part of the old version will remain untouched. New script, new voicelines, new cover art, Current Year™️ editing, all of that. Probably even a new title! For all intents and purposes, this would basically be a new audio that just has a similar plotline and characters to one of my older audios.

It is also worth noting that, like one of my regular polls, all details here are subject to change as the script and audio fleshes out.

With that said:

SERN Research Test 5100 

This one has aged pretty well in regards to editing, but would the pacing greatly benefit from added narration. That would be my main focus with this- add lots of sections where I get to more thoroughly describe her pressing up against the walls of the small enclosure. 

Also, the extra scene would for-sure be Maho giving Kurisu what she has coming to her. I can't help giving so many of my stories cliffhangers like that! lol.

Natsuki Loves Cupcakes 

Could use some extra descriptions and voice direction to convey the "small girl gets hyuge" schtick better... as in, I would absolutely be taking inspiration from that short comic HeheheGross made (see: [page 1], [page 2], [page 3], unfortunately no 4th page 😔). Love the butterball shape here. Fits her so well.

(Also, the dA upload in particular also has a flat-out duplicate line that I've been kicking myself over for the past 3-4 years now. Not great!)

Stuffed Schedule 

This one is ROUGHHH editing-wise and the voice direction basically amounted to me going "yeah uhh uhh do a kinda seductive sexy voice". But- this is one of a few audios where it's less weight gain and moreso a fat woman doing sexy stuff with you (the viewer). I could do a lot with that! Plenty of wiggle room for additional scenes as well, considering this is currently the shortest audio on my page.

Alcremie's Sweet Revenge! 

This one has plenty of sauce in the presentation. Two loud announcers shouting about "HOW IS THIS HAPPENING IN A CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH WOAAAH" is always going to be fun! Would love to give them filters that don't sound like Xbox 360 headsets though. I think that would be greatly constructive in bringing this up to speed with my other audios.

You could probably expect this one to focus more on Bea herself rather than having that whole intro scene with the other trainer. Probably something like: Bea walks into the stadium, Alcremie stuff happens, she gets wheeled out, aftermath scene to wrap it up. Again- everything here is VERY subject to change, but that's what I'm currently imagining...

The Faerie Faux Pas of Y'shtola Rhul 

This one kinda flopped performance-wise and I'm not really sure why? Is it because I used a fancy term like "faux pas" in the title? Or maybe the giant watermark for someone else's Patreon in the cover art? Who knows!

Regardless, the "faerie" aspect of this would be played up much more here. I didn't have much in the way to represent them beyond unintelligible creaturespeak back then, but now I can convey Y'shtola getting bullied around by a bunch of tiny fairies way easier and more dramatically.

Ms. Carina's Pressurized Lesson 

If I'm being 100% honest, this holds up pretty well as-is. I don't see much need to adjust the editing or story.

Which of course means that the obvious choice here would be to make a kinda-sorta follow-up where the tables seemingly get turned on Miss Suki Carina. Except uh oh! turns out "I'm gonna inflate you grrr 😡🤬" is not much of a threat to someone who has a 54-and-counting page comic about exactly that! Might incorporate elements of said comic too, could be a funny way to make this story stick out more.

Weight of the World 

A criticism I remember this one getting is that it's too slow. Which was kind of "the point" given how somber of a series NieR is overall, but I can at least see where they were coming from. This is where narration comes in to fill the gaps! In particular, I think this could be written from the perspective of 042 recording 2B's behavior and logging it internally.

You know like, the audio log trope? Maybe that sort of thing.

Daisy in Fuller Flourish 

Much like the Ms. Carina option, I don't see much need to remake this in full! This would more likely be a sequel where Daisy does more fat-boistrous-tomboy things and Peach does more formal-girly-princess things. "Peach stuffing sequence" is a thought ringing in my head as I type these out.

Alternatively, back in 2021 I made an ultimately-unreleased audio story where the main princess trio (Peach/Daisy/Rosalina) all fall victim to Rosie accidentally adding a bunch of Blimp Fruit to a dessert recipe which makes them all fatttttttt as hell in a "fatflation" sort of way. Perhaps this could be revisited in some form?

Spider in the Shower (+ others) 

This one would lean less on the "remake" side of things and more "new twist on old thing". Because, like... this would be the fourth time I've filled a monstergirl up with Suu-goo. It's nice and all, but only so many times you can do that without retreading yourself!

A few possible options would be to involve multiple characters (hence Centorea and Miia being on the splash, but could be someone else too), or have a scene outside of the shower, or have this be some sort of "here's what happened immediately after Spider in the Shower" thing. Not entirely sure. It'll be sure to Suubvert your expectations in one way or another :^)

Devil of Pure Peer Pressure 

This is another one with... let's just say "vast opportunities to improve the editing". Case in point: if you turn the volume up to 200+% you can almost hear the background music!

In terms of narrative though, I think the overall idea of Albedo being pushed to inflate herself to larger and larger sizes could benefit from added narration descriptions. Her "proposal" sequence to "Ainz" in particular is also something current-day me could add way more flavor to.

...lastly, maybe an inflation device that isn't just a regular air tank? There's too much wacky ye olde isekai RPG fantasy stuff going on for that. Kinda why a bellows is used in my other Overlord audio, lol.

Lardy Palutena's Hot Bath 

The big change here would be WRITING. I essentially got memed into thinking "oh, palutena's like a sexy milf goddess right? ara ara!" except no come to find out that's very much not how she is in the games! Sure surprised me at the time.

Overall plot beats would remain the same, younger angel man gets a faceful of stuffed-goddess-belly and what-have-you... the dialogue would mainly just be more interesting and closer to the source material.

God, I Wish That Were Me 

The back-and-forth roleplaying between "Newo" (might asspull a reason to use a different name, might not) and her Discord friend is something I've always really liked as a concept... but it's CURRENT YEAR™️ and I can do this better. This is the oldest audio in the poll and would benefit the most from "just do it better".

Notably, I made another audio with this character later on which featured her eldrich-slime-girlfriend Aria. Perhaps she'd be revealed as the "roleplay partner" in question here? 🤔
