[#32] Uncensored - I had an accident

In this episode, QT & Maya talk about periods, what they are, and their stories revolving around them.

[#32] Uncensored - I had an accident

Comments

I’m an enby but I have “boy” equipment. I had to wait and learn a lot of this in premed, and even then I’ve had to teach myself a lot. I didn’t know that tampons came in different sizes until today.

Alden Friend

I have no idea when mine started.. maybe around 11. I don't remember where either, perhaps school? not sure but I do remember that for the first 2-3 years I had no pain which was amazing. Sadly it did start after that but thank goodness for pills, idk how I could cope otherwise - just have to take them once when the pain starts and it goes away until next month. I can't fathom what it would've been like for women 100+ years ago. I was fortunate that it was only me and my mother living together, so I didn't have to worry about being embarrassed if my dad found anything to do with it. It is a shame that we're naturally a lot more nervous to bring it up with male figures.

Alanna M

I know I'm so behind, but ya'll were talking about the gooch massage, and just wanted to say, just wait until you're pregnant (maybe) one day! It's a real thing thats actually not just weird, and it's called perineal massage. It's to help stretch things out so you don't tear during child birth. 😬

Caitlyn Sasnett

My kid is 9 years old, sounds like a good time to have the period talk

Arrowni

I got my first period on 12/12/12 (the day the world was supposedly going to end). My mom was working late that night and we'd never taIked about periods before. I totally thought that I was dying. I remember watching my dad to see if he was also going to start bleeding, and I panicked for the rest of the night. Periods suck. -_-

Zippy

Can't believe QT had her first period on my birthday. Makes it so much more important

Jan Kamyk

I don't mind pads even while playing sports, I hate tampons it's way too unconfortable. I never had a bad experience with them though, my first time using them was in the summer with my cousins (without my parents) and I had my mom on the phone in the toilets explaining me how I should do it. Didn't hurt when putting in it. Always hurts when getting it out...

Marie

So glad I wasn’t the only one who played sports with just a pad, worse experience ever

Corinne Yale

am guy. i did learn. thanks

ChubbyHobo

Friend groups police each other too. Yes we may not be famous but we have to be careful what we say to other friends!

KittyCaity95

This was definitely an informative ep😅but love hearing you guys be so open about your experiences. I would also really enjoy a baked good review segment🙂

Zack Owens

i learned about periods and erections for the first time in fifth grade ! we had a week at the end of the year dedicated to it and they split the boys and girls up to learn about it separately and the day the boys learned about periods they came back shaming girls so much and that very same night i had my first period! i went to bed sobbing because i hadn’t really had the conversation with my mother and i was so upset that i’d have to go in to school the next day with a period after hearing so much disgusting shit from the guys about it . i was also the first afab in my grade to get it so even the girls tip toed around me it was awful

finley

i have an IUD and i haven't had my period in 5 years. it's maybe the greatest thing ever (besides the fact that getting one is so painful that you'd rather be dead in those 5 minutes 🙃 just girly things, ya know)

Kiera Clements

My wife wants to know: does a diva cup "feel like your sloshing"? Edit: i realize it seems like I'm asking, but I swear!

Demi

This is the episode that made me sub to the Patreon lmao

Riley Adams

I figured out very quickly that this episode was unwatchable on YouTube.

conway1308

informative episode :) its good to know theres variety packs i'd never seen those. i like to be somewhat stocked up on stuff (not quite a prepper) and that sounds like the kind of thing even single dudes should have just in case someone needs it. you're right that there's a double standard comparing to how men talk about gross things. also about how people hold others to standards they couldnt possibly live up to. people who are quick to call others out over how they acted years ago obviously have never had much growth in their own lives or they would have more empathy.

seashell

Good and informative episode. I grew up with 2 sisters so I've been quite familiarized with the menstrual cycle and I don't see it as this crazy thing that should never be spoken of in public or around your peers. It's really a shame that women already have to bear the burden of periods alone and also to be ostracized for a very natural thing, it just says a lot about society, in which we do indeed live in one. Also the white background unironically goes hard I don't know why.

Zay

diva cup gotta pay yall, I've never seriously considered buying one til this ep :)

rae

My sister desensitized me to periods early on. Just as gross as any other bodily function. Just as shameful too. She was kinda a shit sister looking back. But I guess I can thank her for that 💀

Shunbound

When in doubt, put a towel under you while you're sleeping on your period. It will save many a sheet.

Shaliek

in europe we dont have applicators for our tampons, we just use our fingers lol

Helmi

When I first got my period, I thought I was shitting from the front and wanted to go to the hospital. To this day I can’t forgive myself for my reaction haha. But I’m with qt on the heavy and harsh cycles. They are horrible and feel like your uterus is trying to pull itself out from inside of you! I have always been envious of women who have light cycles. Thank you both for all of the work you do for the Patreon! We appreciate everything you do for us lil winers ☺️

KayeBearXD

i once left a tampon in for 2 full days... nothing happened but i literally showered with it and didnt notice it was still up there

ali

I don't remember the brand but if you look at the directions on the box of tampons it says you can use it for up to 8 hours so you can sleep with it in.

J

yeah i think the white background is too bright and the contrasting between maya in the dark and qt in front of a solid white background destroys my eyes at night. (which is when i mostly watch the podcast) even if maya switched to a bright background i think it defeats the "after dark" feel/theme that wine about it seems to go for.

quackalex45

Hot take periods are gross and trying to rebrand them as not is never going to work. Chunky smelly blood is inherently gross. Kind of like shit/diarrhea is gross. You shouldn't be ashamed of either but some people are going to be grossed out if you talk about either. Buzzfeed making a video making art with period blood and freebleeding in the office. Is not helping. Imagine art made out of shit.

BS

I'm dying at QT naming all the slang terms for body parts as if they're the real (and different) parts. A general rundown... Vagina: Twat, Cunt, cunny, poonanny, coochie, bat cave Labia Minora: Roast beef, the dangly bits, bits, meat curtains Labia Majora: Hotdog buns, camel toe Pubic Symphasis: mound, pubis, pubic bone Both the Labia Minora & Labia Majora together (collective): Vulva, pussy, pussy lips, pink taco, minge, quim, hairy clam Clitoris (External): Clit, button, bean, pussy pearl Clitoris (Internal i.e. the clitoral network): G-spot Perineum: Taint, gooch, grundle, bifkin Anus: Asshole, sphincter, bussy, chocolate starfish, corn hole, balloon knot, pucker, bunghole, backdoor Rectum: Poop chute Testis (Testicle) or Scrotum (Testis are technically inside the scrotum): Balls, ballsack, sac, nuts, juevos, nads, family jewels Penis: Dick, cock, weiner, wang, sausage, woody, willy, peen, knob Glans penis (usually including the corona): Cock head, mushroom head, (penis) tip, bellend, (penis) head, Vader cap Prepuce: foreskin, turtleneck Urethra (male & female): piss hole, pisser, pee hole Massaging the perineum for men can stimulate the prostate.

Lezzerlee

tampon applicators seem so wasteful. they aren't very common in Australia at all

Kaylella

outside of baking reviews, qt could also bring back room reviews

kerk

As a male I've found this entirely useful and valuable, seriously. It's good to know actual info about these things. Thank y'all.

CheesyfaceChase

My mom taught me and all my brothers from a young age all about periods so I have never had a negative outlook on periods. My family is also very Mormon.

AbaftUser

i also had my first period at the movies, it was traumatic

Ash

Hearing how QT & Maya had to hide their periods around their families is crazy to me. I guess I got lucky because even though there were 3 men in my household of 5, I never once felt shameful of my period. My dad would always ask if I needed more pads or wanted chocolate. And my younger brothers were never weird about it. And that's how it should be!! Periods are a normal part of life!! It should be chill to talk about it around your loved ones

Angel M

Damn that sucks

xoxo_gems

Ive heard its rare but also know 6 girls who have had close calls with it so your mileage may vary, even if its 1 in a million you never know your luck could make you the one so always be cautious

SoloPunished

You can definitely sleep with a tampon in, just make sure it’s no longer than 8 hours and make sure you’re putting in a new one right before bed to lessen the risks. Toxic shock syndrome is also extremely rare but it’s better to be safe than sorry.

xoxo_gems

Not sure if y'all have considered it, but I think it could be fun to have viewer submitted wine picks every once in a while or have Patreon vote on a wine for the week :)

slidenarwhal

I mean ya I don't think they're defending it, but putting that situation in the conversation of "well she's an Internet personality and we put her on a pedestal and watch her every move" when she was literally just caught sexually harassing children is not responsible and I know they don't mean it this way but putting that situation in the context of that conversation simply does not make any sense.

ClimateKy

i think you're reading a little too much into it. no one was defending colleen.

hope leyana

Honestly, I loved this episode. I am a menstrual cup user and love it (I have had it flip before though). I have recently swapped to a disk, and love it even more since it's a lot less likely to move or spill.

Paige Bird

uh... I wouldn't say Colleen Ballinger is getting "cancelled" per say... it'd be more that she is a literal pedophile and got caught???? It wasn't like a joke or anything she was literally just being a pedophile. I agree with you on the overall take but to put Colleen in that conversation is actually irresponsible and kind of insane y'all.

ClimateKy

Yeah technically it is. But they just have to say it was due to X or Y. Like they just have to say “Oh you just aren’t performing well enough” or “We don’t think you’re a great fit anymore”. There’s not a lot you can do to prove the real reason they do unless they explicitly wrote it, which hasn’t been the case for me.

artandabbie

Cheers

allocat5867

That would be illegal at least in the United States, right? Because it's discrimination based on a protected class (sex; same reason why you can't do Lady's Nights at bars in California because it's discriminatory against men)? But I guess employers can just ignore labour laws anyway in the US of A since they don't expect you to be able to hire a lawyer who will cover the case for you.

Shaun Cheah

in middle school i had discharge for the first time and had so much anxiety thinking i was sick (also have OCD which didn’t help) but was too scared to tell my mom. I can still remember the relief when she told me it was normal. I do think parents sometimes forget to talk about the details like that because my mom did talk about periods with me. And thank you for educating the men:)

Evie

I think back to 7th grade when a boy in my class came in with a giant red stain on his pants post-lunch and joked it was his period. The whole class was laughing and I just sat their confused and asked the girl next to me what was so funny about a period. I feel bad for her now. A 12 year old girl shouldn’t have to tell 12 year old boy that in class.

Michael Simmons

ok literally same! I’m reading comments like wait what?😅

Lindsey

the first time I used a tampon I was spending the night at a friend's and she had a pool. I told her I couldn't swim because I was on my period and she told me to just use a tampon. her mom came to the bathroom and handed me one but I didn't know how it worked so I just stuck the whole applicator up there and left it. yes, a plastic applicator. it hurt so bad and after an hour or two I told her I had to use the bathroom and just took it out and hoped for the best while we played mermaids.

Dani- Lee

Did I misunderstand Maya in the first 15 mins? Is she saying cancel culture is bad because racist stuff in the past does not equal you are a racist today?

Shelby Nicely

i listened to the audio version and didn't notice a thing! it felt very produced and seamless. I can see how that would be bad for a video viewing experience, but think everyone should cut this person some slack.

Tessa Maguire

Imma be honest, I never talk to my friends about my dick. It’s kinda weird, talking about sex sure but cum and stuff? Nope.

Larnius

Why is the uncensored Patreon version shorter than the YouTube one?😅

Larnius

Yeah it was a bit much visually but if you listen audio only it’s totally listenable and less noticeable

Jaded Kills

my friend has a pierced taint

Mitch Mitcherson

My mom also didn't teach me how to use a tampon and the first time I needed one was at church camp. I didn't understand them at all, so I put the applicator in and then broke the stick off. 0/10, wouldn't recommend, most pain my vagina has ever been in.

Bayless

intention matters. thats it. a contractor says that you trashed the house- did you intend to? yes- wanna change that about yourself? no- cool keep going. you are who you are and we are all different and thats the beauty of life. yes-wanna change that about yourself( and not because you feel bad for the contractor but truly wanna change that about yourself for yourself?) if yes- cool, change, grow and prosper no-in your mind did you really trash the house in hindsight? no- sounds like a them issue no- in your mind did you really trash the house in hindsight- yes- do you want to be more intentional going forward? yes- youve learnt, grow and prosper. no- in your mind did you really trash the house in hindsight- yes- do you want to be more intentional going forward? no, you dont care- then cool you keep doing you youre beautiful and unique and yourself regardless. Intention matters. fuck the haters. always gunna be haters as there is always going to be lovers. what matters is that you can sleep at night.

Kate Keeffe

I’ve had men tell me point blank that it’s disgusting and shouldn’t be talked about. I’ve also have previous male partners gag when I’ve mentioned it. Thankfully, more people than not are chill about it. But I still feel there is still a societal taboo to openly discuss periods.

artandabbie

Same haha I didn’t notice til comments

artandabbie

Dude that’s so fucked up! I’m sorry you had to deal with that :(

artandabbie

All guys should learn this stuff. I'm 46 and never knew all the details. I believe I've always shown empathy just based on gender stereotypes, but it's not the same as actually having some insight. I just went with women get unreasonably angry and I should deal with that and support them when they have a period. But that's just women. Inadequate understanding. Short story shorter, men don't know shit about periods, especially when they're younger and have not had many relationships. Unfortunate for both parties.

Michal Dobrzynski

you don't need to cut as much, I promise you guys aren't boring. sometimes silence is good, it is authentic.

Ayjayy

I was raised with mostly only Women; period talk is nothing! Only thing that's tough is the PMSing at the same time when they sync in their period, you feel you need to be in your room alone, a LOT.

Mathieu Boisclair

I don't know how it is in the US but generally production is tight knit industry, Noone that wants to keep in the industry would badmouth clients publicly, not like on blast on twitter. If that were true most celebrities would be put on blast and most production companies wouldn't have clients. Plus there is definitely people much worse to deal with than QT, trust me.

James Parentich

Fear& Wine About It Gang rise up

COAL GOLEM

This was a learning experience.

Darren Hertenstein

🫡 The only patreons I've found worth subbing to, tbh.

Darren Hertenstein

Shout out Murat "The Better Piker" Piker

COAL GOLEM

I agree, it should be normal to talk about. Don't take my comment the wrong way. The part I found entertaining was that even thought QT is saying that the "yucky" reaction is a red flag and that talking about periods should be normalized, it's still so culturally ingrained that she seemed to have a similar reaction just moments before.

N.N.

They're the only two patreons I'm subbed to

Jenny Lyons

farts are "yucky" yet still normal lmao. your logic makes no sense ofc having a bloody mess down there is gonna feel/seem "yucky". still should be normal to talk abt

mgnnn

I think the claims that men will say "eeww, gross" when you talk about periods are more based on the shame and what people have told you your entire life, than actual reactions from people, right? It sounds like the examples you brought up was not like that (Fear& reacted with interest about talking about it and Ludwig reacted with helpful acts). Most people you know well will probably just say "oh, do you need me to help you out with something?" if you tell them you are having your period or that you are bleeding. Most things (like telling people) are scary because you are considering all the ways it could go "wrong" to the point where you don't actually go through with it, and that re-enforces the ideas you had in the first place (without them actually being proven).

N.N.

Same, these are my favorite podcasts

Nicholas DeLosSantos

I've been using a menstrual cup for past five years and it's been amazing, seriously life changing for the better. I wore pads before then. Went from pads straight to a cup, skipped the tampons. I learned how to insert stuff up there really fast. All becuase I was pretty miserable with pads. I don't use the Diva cup brand tho, I use Saalt cups because they have an extra soft silicone option, which feels way more comfortable for me since the Diva silicone just felt too hard. QT you should check out the Saalt cups if you ever want to give menstrual cups a shot again!

Andrea Davila

Periodt.

Ridorana12

I learnded

Jeremy Wolford

no same here, i only realized after i read the comments

starlitstellaa

that is so??? there are so many things wrong with that, so happy for you that he's an ex <3

starlitstellaa

I sometimes use a bed pad when I'm on my period. Makes for easier cleanup

may

Diva cups are amazing!! I was terrified the first time I was going to take it out, but it was actually really easy :D never wanna use anything else again

Carina

Diva cups are amazing, I can't recommend enough. It takes like a week to get used to and then you'll never want to use a tampon or pad again.

DOPAMINE27

I am the one crossover viewer of Fear& and Wine About It

back1879

As a lady (currently on her period), I loved this episode.

Frances Wilson

sameeee

Georgette Rosin

I got my first period when I was 10. I was at my dad's work because it was bring your kid to work day. My mom hadn't told me about periods yet so I just thought I was dying until my dad asked me why I kept going back and forth to the bathroom.

Samantha

What I learned from this is how shockingly bad sex ed is in the US also even in a otherwise progressive family. Even more respect to you both for trying to change that. The applicator seams to be a huge difference between America and Europe. In Europe tampons without applicator are often the norm. Might be good to know if you’re traveling.

soloPFL

Kind of on topic, but there's a great video on yt called a history of menstruation (I love video essays)

aj

oh my god that is terrifying

Georgette Rosin

Same. I get migraines from my PCOS on my periods and it is always a problem with work

jana

didn't expect to make it through this episode. i did. i learned something today. good episode as always!

stolenarmy_

wait am I the only one who didn’t notice the cuts lol

Lindsey

honored to be a crossover audience member for fear& 🫡

Lindsey

I am glad I could help someone out:)

Arraya17

My mom never taught me anything about periods and whatnot. When I told her I got my period for the first time she went and got me tampons and that was that. No instructions or anything. So I always pretty much used those cause I wasn’t taught about pads really. So it’s opposite for me I guess.

Kayla Johnson

As a trans guy that has had to hide so much of personal health stuff because of cronic gossip syndrome in my family and has now become pretty aversed to any talk of this kind irl, it's nice to be able to just have people talk openly about it and have that way of education/discussion in a way that doesn't make me physically cringe or want to hide in a ditch

Patrion TV

So I was raised in a split household - mom was agnostic, dad is Mormon. My dad and stepmom never talked about sex stuff, it was taboo. My mom was super open about it all and would tell me how stuff works, and my mom and sister never tried to keep it hush if they were on a period, it was just a fact. My dad would take me to see the bishop if he found out I watched porn once (I self admitted because of Mormon guilt). My mom however bought me a porn magazine so I wouldn’t get a virus on the family computer - but thought a teenage boy trying to watch porn was normal. High school was a really confusing time before I left the church. My dad didn’t talk to me for 2 years after that too but we made up after my mom passed (still not going back to church tho)

Taylor Egg

Please upload the unedited version!

Tobias

drank the wine with you, it was good! Love the period talk, normalize periods!

Cherie Nichols

All good, tq for telling us! Some of the comments felt overly reacted. Its still just fine for me

Are-eem

Might be TMI but I've definitely gotten a tampon stuck before and had completely forgotten about it until I had to take a particularly huge shit

Sarah Smith

that line Maya said at 29:16 had me cackling

Aimeee

we should be clear, austin was the one who said it was natural and beautiful, not hasan and will

Isaac

wild how little we are taught about our own bodies. like sooo many other girls i felt (and still feel tbh) so much shame and embarrassment and also had to figure out most of it on my own. i had heavy bleeding and horrible cramps that there were multiple occasions I thought something was seriously wrong. and nope! just the joys of menstruating :) hopeful for future generations that sex ed and reproductive health will be a lot more comprehensive bc yea that shit sucked lol

cierra

I got my first period when I was 10 and about to go to a beach birthday party and ended up cancelling and staying home. I had no idea what was happening to me at the time and went to tell my mom. She explained it to me (vaguely, she just told me how to put on pads) and when I found out you got them every month I was SO UPSET for like weeks because I thought you only got them once... Having a uterus sucks 👎

Joana

QT, I believe in you and your healing! <3

Ria

I haven’t watched the episode yet but I’m going to assume this is satirical lol.

Arianna Lista

Woah what's will all the cuts? I feel like i can't breathe listening to this, hope we go back to less cuts

BinkyBonky

My first 2 periods i thought i was shitting myself because the blood dried brown and i was so mortified at school and i couldnt understand why i kept shitting myself and i had no period education

Kimberly Cottrell

This episode inspired me to use my diva cup. When i used it before i couldnt get it in quite right (im a typical pad user) im going to try vaseline with a cup!

Kimberly Cottrell

Loved this episode, wish there was much less cuts to make it seem more natural but overall pretty chill

David

Thankfully all the other men in my life- my dad, brothers, guy friends- are very understanding and nice.

Pnwoah

I had an ex who would say 'oh i can just get ya pregnant' whenever I'd complain about period cramps. :)

Pnwoah

Ok finished episode now: Wife uses diva cup and hasn’t gone back, you’re supposed to rotate it 360 as you pull down so it seals properly? Also the end has like a little nipple so it’s easy to pull out. Glad you’re talking about this because my daughter has the same stigma about periods and stuff but we try and be open about everything and make sure she’s not ashamed. Def all for normalizing period talk. I was gonna ask about period sex so I’m excited to hear your thoughts in the Patreon episode cus my wife and I disagree on this

Jose Marin

To all the ladies out there that have trouble with tampons, especially teens, use a little bit of Vaseline on it and it makes a world of difference. My friend suggested it in HS, saved my life lol! Hope this isn't TMI:)

Arraya17

Proper sex ed about both sexes for everyone equally would do so much good for everyone... sigh

Experimental Cyborg

not the greatest fan of the cuts!! I absolutely love how laid back it is and how it feels like I'm watching a face time between two friends, this feels more edited and more fake overall... great episode though and i can't wait for the patreon episode!!!

Chiara Benoit Pequignet

Same. To the point where I feel like I'm trying to get people to join a cult lol. But cups have legit been a life saver for me, and all the people I've "converted" feel the same.

Pnwoah

I'm a massive cup advocate. I will try to sell any period haver on cup usage. You feel nothing! Even with tampons you feel a little string movement. Up to 12 hours! No waste! I love them so much.

jamfarts

Diva cups also come in different sizes. I did a little research into this looking into creating better women's products, and many times cups flipping is due to either poor fit or recent pregnancy. I still think a silicon hybrid between tampon and diva cup that uses small diameter cell holes to trap liquid through surface tension might become the next thing To solve the fit issue the hybrid would use smart wire rings that slightly expand with body heat, similar to other medical implant devices that go into veins/arteries. (and it should be able to hold a similar amount as a diva cup)

Seth Hastings

As most people has pointed out the amount of cuts is a bit jarring. It makes sense for the audio only version but the cuts become more apperent in the video version which just makes it distracting.

Erik Ivarsson

I got my first period the morning I was supposed to leave for a week long church camp :) it fucking sucked. luckily my best friend at the time was in the same cabin and she had hers a year before mine so she helped me out and was my savior. But one time while I was there I went to the bathroom that all the girls at the camp shared and I forgot to flush or something and this girl went into the stall after me and obviously didn’t know wtf a period was bc this bitch screamed so damn loud like she just found a dead body

Makenzie

These stories are so relatable, dude. I had to learn how to use tampons from the diagrams on the box.... it did not go great lol

VancityRen

My first period happened when my mom was in the hospital having major surgery (ironically enough she was having a hysterectomy) - so I had to go to my dad LOL. I have a distinct memory of telling my dad at 11, then him driving me to the store to get tampons/pads. We both stood in the isle and he looked at me and was like “what do I get?” And I remember being like “idk I’ve never done this before!!” And he went me either!!! He bought me the most massive pads ever and told me if they were too big we could cut them with scissors. Two weeks later mom came back from the hospital and had to do damage control hahahah

Caitlin

The cuts took some getting used to but still feel a little jarring. I like how laid back and natural the conversation feels without it. Even just listening to the audio, I can tell when the cuts are happening and it's a little distracting. I don't know what the solution is - maybe less cuts overall, or leaving more of the pause in between cuts? Either way great ep :)

jamfarts

I suspect the cuts were done automatically, like a plugin or any AI software that detects empty space on the sound wave of the project and removes them from the whole timeline. Good intention, yet probably overdone, maybeee this can be tone down like "3 bars" and also play with zoom in/out sometimes (please don't overdo it) to ease the visuals when cuts are done. Either way, fun episode :)

Eriel Cruz

OHH PERIOD STORIES. I unexpectedly got my period while working retail and told my female manager to ask if I could run to my locker and grab a tampon. Instead of saying yes she opened her purse and let me reach in and grab one of her tampons. Except she only had some big super absorbent ones. I took it anyway and said thanks and forced myself to use it. It was so uncomfortable and dry when it came out. Horrible. ALSO I don't know how I lived so long with this misinformation, but I was convinced until recently that tampons were safe to flush. Lol.

jamfarts

haha you should ask your conservative guy friends for stories about sex ed for guys. If you're insulated + christian family, it can get wild how much they just don't talk about anything.

Seth Hastings

Just wrote something similar and then I see your message, glad I am not the only one that sees the positive of this type of editing. Works for Audio for sure, a little uncomfortable to follow visually

Eriel Cruz

Can you upload the unedited version please?:( no cuts!! Otherwise great episode as always

Michela Lorenti

What in the fuck are these cuts? Annoying as hell

e

I feel the cuts may work for audio only as hearing the conversation without gaps it does sounds fast pace yet for me feels fluent and the topics are connected well.

Eriel Cruz

D: They missed the vision.

Avery

I’ve passed out so many times from my period. I have endometriosis and it gets so bad sometimes. What’s worse is I’ve also been let go from jobs because I kept having to call out because of them. I can’t wait to have my uterus removed.

artandabbie

Yea the amount of cuts is terrible

ROGO27

Wait wtf?!! The editor cut out the pop and the wine pour?

Jose Marin

Just upload the un edited version. this shit is unwatchable

RobotNinja

forsen

Klav

Yep 11 mins in and switching to audio only. A cut every 2 seconds is so damn jarring.

Jose Marin

Please never this editor again…. I’m begging :(

ROGO27

Thanks for the heads up! Yeah i personally will have to pass on this one. The cuts make the pacing aggressive and i need to breathe also =P

PuffTheDargon

The amount of cuts in this is horrendous… I had to stop 2 minutes in to type this cause it is actually so annoying. For the video being on patreon, this should not have so many cuts. It’s so unenjoyable from a viewing standpoint to watch this…… Great episode otherwise :)

ROGO27

Comparing Jenna Marbles’ situation with the Colleen Ballinger allegations is absolutely wild.

Owen

Holy cuts! Glad to know it’s actual cuts though. Wasn’t sure if it was the camera or my brain just glitching out 😂

Jose Marin

The cuts are great for the audio. Gives off the more produced podcast feel of professional podcasts that literally cut out every breath, but for video I think it is better without it because I am expecting an uninterrupted flow of video

Avery
