I mean, you can make up a story yourself and then interpret Maya's response as being in response to your made up story, but what she reacted to was what QT said, which is that the gym teacher told them to either be celibate or get on birth control, which definitely is fucked up. The massive difference being between going on birth control voluntarily, which is great, or being forced to be on it, which is fucked up.

QT’s the one who obviously misrepresented the situation for entertainment, Jeff. Maya clearly doesn’t want birth control to be normalized. It wasn’t normalized for her, so she doesn’t want it to be normalized for anybody else. Either she wants teen birth control to be a taboo, OR she’s a sexist hypocrite. Take your pick.

with regards to the toe breakup, i don’t think it was as black and white as joe not liking her level of fame. based on you’re losing me, it seems like they had different desires for the relationship and are just ultimately different people. it seems like taylor wants a relationship that’s very energetic and can keep up with her career ambitions, while joe just wants to sit back and relax and work on his small little projects. i also think joe might not want to get married like ever, and taylor did, even if she convinced herself for a long time that she didn’t care.

So I get qt because she's Mormon. But I don't understand why women think they need to be told how or what masturbating is.
