All the verses in seminary were ludicrous, plus that 2 page passage we had to memorize about Joseph Smith from the Pearl of Great Price. Also my dad was in the bishopric and made me memorize the sacrament blessings. He wanted me to stand out from the other boys who read it off a laminated card lol

I went to an abandoned overgrown monastery on a hill right on the border of two countries who were in a cold war at the time, and while I was in there exploring, people with guns come in, and I'm obviously very scared. So they're like "wtf are you doing here" and I explain that I'm just a tourist who wanted to check out the monastery and they say "Okay, don't worry, we're Christians, we won't shoot you.". So then they asked me how I even got to the monastery and I told them I just drove up to it and asked how they got there, and they explained that they crawled up the hill through the bushes because there's snipers from the other country on the ridgeline a few hundred yards behind the monastery that will shoot at people coming to visit. I'm assuming they didn't shoot me because they realized I was just a dumb-ass tourist and they didn't want to cause an international incident. After hanging out for a while it was time to leave and they told me to just run zig-zagging to the car and drive away as fast as possible. I did that, nobody shot at me, it was all fine, but I was definitely scared out of my mind.

Honestly best episode in a while! Glad qt had a great time at the concert, you can tell she’s happy about it and it carried over! Hope she gets to a place where’s she’s always that excited and happy
