Dev Log 0.42d: Fond Memories

Well, I didn't have to be up this late, but I didn't also have to take that gaming break with some friends tonight...

Regardless, as I said, I got some cute Sami stuff done, just a nice little scene that was missing. After all, it's not a pregnancy sprint unless you get some milk in your mouth! She should wake you up on Saturday.

Besides that Cassidy was very nearly done with her Corruption 1. Needed just a little more than 1 scene, but not by much. But it will need you to get her scene of going on a bit of a drive and not having any great answers. However it also needs you to be sleeping with someone, not a huge trouble at this stage of the game.

If you are, you can get a short little bit between her and Lin on Friday Midnight. Though a bit more importantly, her yoga scene will be substantially different. After all, she's feeling a little tense.

This will get you her second corruption level if a certain proposition is made.

I'm a little miffed at myself that I only squeezed in one scene for her C2, even during a release week... But them's the shakes. It's not like my fingers weren't on fire and this is twice the size of a normal update...

If you visit her on Friday, when she was previously working, instead she'll be trying out something new.

Besides that there are bunch of minor little bug fixes and such, the traditional things.

There is one thing I want to talk about and that is that I may be reviewing how scene requests are handled. Obviously I'll take feedback from the limited number of you that get them, but cramming them all into one sprint normally works... until we get something like last time where there ended up being almost double the normal amount...

Just people rotating through during the request period, people dipping into creepy stalker, one I'd missed... But what am I gonna do? Not do the scene requests? But having such a large bulk of them all in one go hurt development of the game. The current proposed solution is to go to a rotating schedule, where I do 1-2 scene requests per sprint instead of having every 4thish sprint heavily dedicated to them. This would let me keep the pile low and hopefully let me get to some of them faster. Additionally, I would be able to keep development momentum up (and we wouldn't get low main game content sprints)!

Anyway, it's something to think about.
