Dev Log 0.29a: Pregnart

So this week there was one Haily scene that I really wanted to finish off. And I think it went well, this new version of Haily by the Lake I think really helps hit some of the spots Haily was missing for her Corruption 5.

Like you can talk about breeding and what that means to her, rather than it just be a fetishy word.

However at the same time, my development was kind of reminiscent of some of the slower weeks. I hit my goals and all that, but it's not in as many scenes as I would have liked. The Haily scene just kept growing and I was drawing a bit of a blank for Lisa.

But my experience tells me that I've just got to push through that stuff. I think also if I had a little more time left for Lisa I could have attempted something larger which would have helped.

I did eventually work something up after a great little brainstorming session with my wonderful writing crew. And that was that Lisa spends a lot more time doing things for her household over actually being with them. So lets start fixing some of that.

Now, it was about that time I quite badly burned my hand. The inside part, where I keep all my important fingery bits. That I use for fingering.

Obviously I can still type and all that, just painful. If I didn't let Covid didn't stop me, a burn and all that won't either. I am also being quite well taken care of. Great, I just got Aloe Vera all over my keyboard...

Finally the long awaited update to the corruption system is finally starting to hit. All those bonuses that I'd been working on really chewed up the time I had scheduled for that.

Yeah, it doesn't look like much, but the benefits of this system are that instead of manually going and creating a corruption variable, that will mess up some peoples saved games, then creating the corruption box in the characters page and then answering 42 million questions about what tiny little nook and cranny I hid the corruption in...

I write one line that's a definition and one line when you get the corruption. Everything else is automatic, the list and the display on the scene guide. It will even autohide corruptions flagged as pregnant or with pegging so you can finally get a point for being on the receiving end of Lin's dildo.

I do still obviously have to go through the game and actually convert over the old corruptions but this system was something also holding up my pass through the rest of the early game. And I did specifically delay this one week so I would have time to get a decent sized chunk done between public releases.

It may not look like much (or be much to the more serious coders out there) but I'm proud of it. Also, now I look at it, I should probably have it not display scene names until you discover the scene? Maybe, I dunno. It's a relatively trivial change now that the whole thing is dynamic anyway.

But that's enough from Nunu for today! I'm even going to get to be well rested as I'm like 5 hours ahead of schedule! But I know y'all appreciate me not overloading myself.
