Although Thunder did his best for Echo to have a proper childhood, he couldn’t be always with him. Thunder had no idea Echo was bullied by other kids and even a few adults, he discovered it way later when the damage was already done.

Echo couldn’t smile, cry or show any kind of emotion as he buried everything deep inside in order to protect himself - that did it’s effect and bullies got bored after seeing no emotion at all. From the moment he stopped reacting, bullies just forgot about him just as the rest of the world except for his brother.

It took a while for Thunder to bring back Echo’s emotions, though a broken vase can never be repaired to it’s perfect state as before. So Thunder took a promise from his little brother so that nobody and nothing will ever take away his smile again.

Thunder was assassinated just after his coronation when Echo was 30.
