They never use a virtual camera (well, of course they did, but made it like they did not) when showing a Yaeger. The angle when watching a Yaeger was always set on a believable reference point. On the street, on the roof, on a boat, on a chopper, on the ocean floor, on an ocean floor elevation, on the Yaeger itself, on a submarine, on a weather balloon, on a part of debries falling down with Gipsy... It never moved around, like it was located on a hypersonic drone on steroids and caffeine. And the machines were moving as if they were 7,000 tons. This also ruined Uprising, when the Yaegers were moving, like they were actual human sized humans and the camera suddenly was all over the place.
