I think it is totally up your ally. Technically it is not a single word, but 'Elektrische Melkboer' will put Michelle on a complete loop, while most native Dutch speakers people can figure out what it is. (PS if you can not figure it out, Google is your best friend) (PPS, if you want to enhance your Strange Dutch words vocabulary, look up 'van Kooten en de Bie')

2025-01-03 06:37:03 +0000 UTCI wanted to thank you for your video on pets in the Netherlands. My wife and I watched it when It was first posted as our cat was 18 at the time. Like you we are an American couple who moved to the Netherlands (about six months before you, so fun to see you go through things we just went through, usually) . Sadly he passed away yesterday late morning, peacefully in his sleep right besides us (we should all be so lucky to reach old age and to go in our sleep with our loved ones around), but thankfully your video prepared us, we were able to call dierenambulance and arrange everything. Truly and deep thanks, will remain a Patreon subscriber as long as you have it as we are deeply grateful.
