That final pannenkoek looked delicious. I always add cinnamon to the batter but that's a matter of preference ofc.

Also, fry the bacon first and add the batter when the bacon starts colouring. Cheese can be added at the end (slices) or mixed the the batter (grated)

Spekpannekoek met stroop! When all is said and done, for me that's the best combo by far. Simple but sooo good!

the batter is indeed a bit on the thick side. I have been in the baking industry for quite some time and i have a recipe for you that will immediately remind you of the pancakes in a pancake house:) -------------------------- -3 eggs -500 ml milk -165 grams of flour + 10 grams of baking powder -5 grams of sugar+1 bag of vanilla sugar (7 grams) preferably Dr. Oetker Bourbon Vanilla Sugar. Slightly more expensive, but with real vanilla. -pinch of salt -35 grams of melted butter -------------------------- note 1: use all ingredients at room temperature. note 2: use a digital scale to weigh everything, so you get the same result every time. note 3: use a hot pan in which you melt a little bit of butter each time before adding a new ladle of batter. Pancakes are baked hot and briefly. About 2 minutes per side. When the top is dry or almost dry, turn it over. To be sure, check by lifting the pancake on one side. You can always adjust the temperature slightly up or down. --------------------------- -Put the lukewarm milk in 1 bowl and beat in the eggs. - In the other bowl, sift the flour + baking powder and add the sugar+vanilla sugar and salt. -First add about a third of the milk to the flour mixture to create a slightly thicker batter (this ensures that no lumps form). -Now add the rest of the milk and the melted butter. --------------------------- This recipe makes about 6 to 7 pancakes. I hope it's clear for you. Otherwise, feel free to ask.๐Ÿ˜‰ Good luck!

I can only compare it to the german Pfannkuchen... but yes, it needs to be more runny so that it fills the whole pan in a thin layer. Then afterwards spread homemade marmelade on it and roll it up. So good....

I haven't had a pancake in ages.. I'm so hungry now after watching this ๐Ÿ˜‚

haha we did talk about doing a tortillas video now ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

yeah, definitely need to make the batter and the pannenkoek thinner next timeโ€ฆ

The consistency looks a little on the thick side, kind of hard to tell as a viewer. But every time I make pannekoeken, the batter is much more runny. And using one ladle full fills the pan perfectly.

Now make tortillas ... maybe, just maybe, they end up like pannenkoeken๐Ÿ˜‰. (The batter did look a bit thick..)
