They planned on more but the actor who played Chekov died in real life and they re-assessed whether it would be appropriate to carry on with out him (or have him replaced). Thanks for reacting to my favorite space series.

2024-09-29 21:43:51 +0000 UTCHave to admit when these new Star Trek movies were first announced I really wasn't a big fan of them. But they have definitely grown on me. It's nice to see that the people who make and produce this new franchise actually care about making the best movie they can. Unlike a certain other franchise with the word "star" in it. Also I really enjoyed the call back to the Beasty Boy from the first one. Can't believe Kirk destroyed a vintage Corvette. Not sure if they have made any more Star Treks after this one yet. And as always Biss, beautiful thumbnail. So pretty.

2024-09-20 23:40:47 +0000 UTCBiss the point of the scene where spock is informed that the older spock has died was because the original actor of spock, Leonard Nimoy had died in real life. The scene was in tribute to the actor who played spock since the 1960s.
