2024-04-03 08:26:57 +0000 UTCThis movie was made because of the fans support after the cancelation. But in my country, people didn't know about Firefly. It didn't aired on tv and it was not on sale on DVD back at the time (I had to import it from the US). So when it came the the cinemas, as a stand-alone movie, most people didn't like it too much, it was just ok for them. I don't know how it was in other places, but that was my experience. My favourite part of the movie is to have some kind of closure to the story. We'll miss our leaf on the wind.

Spoilers, at the end when you see 1:48:00 Zoe in the dress she is actually pregnant with Wash's baby! And Kaylee and and Simon have 2 children. Also Mal and Inara do eventually end up together.
