LOW volume btw , might be some screaming

Comments

also there was no special effects.. this was 1975, everything you see is practical effects. no cgi or effects what so ever

Allseeing_I

when you asked about what its called... with the metal.. did you mean the fishing line made of metal or the "reel" that holds the spool of fishing line? because there isnt much made of metal

Allseeing_I

I saw this movie in a theater when it first came out in 1975. When the head rolled out of the boat the screams from the audience was deafening. I think that the whole building came off its foundation because of everyone slamming back in their seats. I do have to say that your scream was magnificent. 😄😂

Skeeze Smith

You are right Biss, the movie was filmed with both a full animatronic shark (actually two one who was a completel shark figure and one who was only partially complete) and a couple of scenes was shot with a real great white shark, (an example the scenes with the cage underwater where the shark is swimming past hooper that was a real great white, and also the scene where the shark was on top of the cage and was kinda stuck, but that scene was actually an accident, it was not suppose to happen, but they kept filming while trying to help the shark get free) As for the sharks size its a realistic size, while it is on the larger end of the scale, Great whites in real life can grow that big and sometimes even bigger, Spielberg wanted the shark to have a realistic size rather than being an unrealistic megalodon wannabe. :)

So l just went and looked on YouTube, and check about 7-8 other reactors at the Ben Gardner boat scene. Yours was by far the best jump scare! You should be very proud!

Andrew Zachman

The story was real. The Indianapolis did go down that way and the sharks did take that many men.

Jason Allen Wolcott

Yeah, thought I recalled you saying that. Wanted to be sure.

James Evanko

I watched that hahhaa

Biss Reactions

really big worms!! LOL

RJ

The fishing reel is the part of the fishing rod you were wondering about.

Andrew Zachman

Prepped and ready for Tremors now.

James Evanko

Biss, you mentioned you do not like open water. If you liked Jaws, you should watch the movie "Open Water" from 2003. It may give you seasickness though.

Nate Wilson

someone needs to clip 50:30

warcrimes

There were a lot of excellent suggestions for this "classic movie" reaction. But I had to put this up for my movie suggestion because I thought it was the most reaction worthy. The special effects do really work well relatively to what technology was available at the time. I really really enjoyed this and I am happy Biss got to enjoy this classic.

Rob Schofield

Holy shit I think all of Europe heard that scream. Oh my!!! I rewatched that moment like 10 times LOL

Rob Schofield

You sneezed, I actually said out loud...bless you..lol

Jeff

No, according to Steven Spielberg the were real shooting stars. There is debate about that though.

Andrew Zachman

Those are fireworks

Lmao I can't explain how much you scared me at 50:25...

The greatest jump scare scene of all time! This is the original, the one all other are compared to. I am so happy that got you, wasn't sure if it would. The director was very unhappy with the shark, it didn't work right and he didn't like the way it worked. Yes, a lot of the underwater scenes were filmed with real sharks. By the way the shark prop was named Bruce. The same person who did the music for star wars also did this. I glad you liked the movie. I first saw in the early eightys when i was about 9 or 10, have loved it ever since. Also I apologize to everyone for saying this wasn't a classic, and that it didn't belong in that pole. I didn't explain myself very well. One final thing, your jump scares were awesome! Oh and about killing it before it lays eggs. Ehh.

Andrew Zachman

I thought the JAWS movie was way too long lol. That must of sucked having to reupload the movie 5 mins after you just did the first time.
