The 12th Day...

Merry Christmas everyone! And thank you so, so much for your support. I never would've done something so ridiculous as this if I didn't think you all deserved the effort.

Today, as well as the obvious holiday, is the last of the 12 Days of Domming and my God have I been busy this month to make it happen, heh. You might already know I've been doing a thousand words a day for some time - up to Day 334 as of now - but for this, I had to really amp it up. I planned things out to see more or less how much I would need to do each day, from December 1st to the 27th, just to see how I could make this planned month work. And more or less what it boiled down to was upgrading to 2000 words a day, in addition to the natural cram days. 

To put this into perspective, I've counted up what I did in November. The total word count for last month was 60219; mind you, the last few days of that had plenty of extra writing to try and get a headstart on this project. 

By comparison, the total for December so far is 65117 words. That's with almost a whole week left, and mind you I'm gonna be doing probably another 6000 over the next couple days for the actual last story of the year this Thursday. So uh, yeah... I've done my best. ^^'

Honestly, it wasn't as hard as I thought it'd be, thanks to the aforementioned plotting out days and just being organized for once, by necessity. But suffice to say, I am pretty worn out by this point. After the 27th I'm going back to 1000 a day for a while and I suspect that's gonna feel like a real breeze now...

But as much work as it is, I'm happy with the result. Honestly, I was convinced this would end terribly for me and I'd end up missing so many deadlines and it'd just a debacle... but no, I somehow got them out every day. I'm quite pleased with it, and I hope I was able to give you all a buncha stories you enjoy. I tried to make things as varied as I could so hopefully there was something for every loving patron~

As usual the last story will be up at 1 PM CST, or in other words about an hour from the time this little blog is posted. Thanks again everyone. The growth of this Patreon page since starting up in February is astounding to me, and truly wonderful because believe me, I need it, heh. I look forward to continuing this momentum into the new year.
