[Research] Clothing Preferences!

Hello everyone!

im back again, in this sort of timeless month, where everything is super slow. 

Im working with the team to bring a Project Nexus to a stable tech demo status soon, aswell as improving stuff in Dungeon Coup, and making new animations for KYFC.

So there is a lot going on.


Today i wanna hear your opinion my dear players!

Lately Project Nexus has been moving more and more closer to an RPG, so in the next 2 weeks i will have a definitive answer about the Style for now it is drifting between Action and RPG, in both cases of course 3rd person. This is more internal struggle related to the engine and some design things that i been changing lately.

So here is what i want your opinion on:

Sex Mechanics

Option 1: Classical Mechanics: These are the standard Left/Right to escape, and Up/down to "attack" when in a sex move. This is the style that im currently using in Dungeon Coup.

Option 2: Skill Mechanics: These are "skill" based mechanics, and by skill i mean an in-game ability. When entering a sex move the player will have 4 skills that it can use, and their performance will vary based on the player's stats and RNG. the pros about this is that it is way more immersive (as it will tie in the same gameplay style to the game), and way less button presses are needed. The cons about this is that sometimes your results will be tied to RNG, and you will have to read like 6 lines of text (in total) to know what the "skills" do.

In both cases there will be only 4 buttons to press. (altho in case 2 some more buttons may be added as a progression, but they won't be required to "win")

Another topic i want your opinion is in Clothing:

In this i can't really decide, as both options are quite good, but im interested in your opinions.

Option 1:  Visually Equipable Items: You will be able to equip items in different slots like Chest, gloves, pants, etc. and what you have equipped is what you are going to wear. Items won't give huge stat bonuses, but sometimes you may end up using something that is not what you like the most, but gives the best bonus.

Option 2: Outfit Creator: You will be able to equip items to improve your stats but they won't change your character appereance, as that will be tied to your outfit (which will be made in a similar way than in Kinky Fight Club).

Keep in mind, stats and stuff won't be super complex, im trying to keep complexity at a minimum, but i still want to have gameplay mechanics worth of a game outside of just the sex animations. Still the game will have a -easy mode- where you can just focus on lewding stuff withouth being worried about getting defeated.
