In the beginning lupa was afraid to remove her collar because she had never undergone a lycan transformation with it restraining her, and without her collar there was no avoiding it. Enslaved dires were denied shifting and being feral there was a high chance lupa would lose herself to the beast, and possibly try to harm gilga. But being a patient teacher she helped ease lupa into it.
Eventually lupa does get a reign on it but still prefers to only shift when nessesary.
These bitches never stop being soft for eachother.
