The sealed prison they kept the sword was suddenly broken and their house invaded by a mysterious knight of unknown origin. Knightlass remained the lone standing defender and was fighting a losing battle until the cursed sword spoke to her and beckoned her to weild it if she wanted to live.
essentially...you got invaded but knightlass about to get some upgrades.
