Hey! Just to advise you, these daily posts have cut-off times as listed so this was too late to be included in the video. Just so you are aware! - PLD

The Reel Rejects

IWTV: Hey! I think it is safe to say this production takes by surprise a lot of people, are you as pleasantly surprised as most of us were? We may love vampires in general, but I mean, the actors (not just because they are ridiculously sensual 🤤🙂), the production value, the adaptation choices, the music on this one: it is a mood, it has a specific personality to it, in the best way possible! Would you agree?

MarySoul

Brokeback Mountain: The score of this movie and the cinematography absolutely stun me and my husband every time we rewatch this movie. Do you guys have a favorite movie where you feel the score and cinematography were perfectly matched together? Especially interested in Andrew's pick bc he's such a fellow cinema score buff! (Mine is Edward Scissorhands & Danny Elfman and my husband's is TRON: Legacy & Daft Punk) Love you guys! And I agree with another comment here that hopefully the LGBTQ reactions also include a good variety, besides gay men. And I say this as a bisexual man married to a gay man. 🌈 —Gabe and Zeke

Orion's Heavenly Light 🏹🌟

It’s great you guys are showcasing gay media, but please please don’t stop with just the men.

Alexandria

Heartstopper Hi Greg and John, who was your MVP of side characters in S1? Pick from: A Isaac - for keeping a secret B Tori - for beeing the best big sister C Mr. Ajayi - for beeing supportive and a save space for Charlie Roll on S2, it's gonna get interesting...

Regine Bkr

INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE 1x2 (Roxy & Greg) - Question if you were a vampire what Reject would be your servant protecting you while in your coffin.

Jay Rushton

Interview 1x02: Hi Roxy & Greg! Since the 80s, Anne Rice's work has been banned from multiple schools/libraries and even shelved in restricted sections of bookstores. Q?: Why do you think stories like IWTV provoke such a reaction? Would you want Rice included at your local store/library?

Carebear

Brokeback Mountain: Hi J, A & A! Hurray for more queer media!!!! Ang Lee won an Oscar for Brokeback (the first POC to win best director), saying the film depicted authentic rural America and its accompanying repression. Q: How do you think Brokeback handled showing the repressed emotions of its characters (whether queer or straight)?

Carebear

PLD- Once again put bits in (....) which can be cut for length. After a few go rounds, I'll see what gets edited and adjust future Qs accordingly. FYI, Greg and John have been actively asking the Heartstopper audience to better educate them around queer issues/media. So, I know my question is a bit long. However, I'm hoping it can add positively to G&J's viewing experience.

Carebear

Heartstopper 1x07-1x08: Hi G & J! Thank you for reacting to this show (and for your honest/open discussion)! The voice of the school's headmaster is actor Stephen Fry. Fry came out (at great personal risk) in the 80s, and his influence in the UK is similar to Ellen Degeneres' here. (Fry's bravery directly led to a show like Heartstopper today.) Q?: If you could add a powerful cameo to any movie/show, who would you feature (and why)?

Carebear

Heartstopper: John! Greg! You’ve made it to the finale of Season 1 of Heartstopper! Question: What are your thoughts on the way they subverted the Rom-Com trope of the public display and declaration of love? What are your overall thoughts on the season’s themes?

Nikki Sonrisa

Brokeback Mountain: Hey fellas! I’m so happy you’re reacting to this super important LGBTQ+ film! I remember going to see this in the middle of the day in a crowded theater back when I was still figuring out my sexuality, and I was so grateful to experience such a beautifully tragic queer representation on screen. Question: what lessons did you take from the film, if any? Personally, I love how the film highlights the way homophobia hurts everyone, not just queer folks.
