IT is indeed real race footage that was shown this was filmed in the middle of the 2023 season and the fake team apex GP was put in so all the race footage is real

To answer Aaron’s question the difference between F1 and NASCAR is that F1 really showcases how good the engineers than the drivers. Although, there are tremendous drivers in F1. NASCAR the cars are designed to be as equal as possible so NASCAR really showcases the drivers more than the engineers. Also, NASCAR has more flexibility in their schedule today with F1 as far as the type of tracks they go to. F1 does all road and street courses where NASCAR does ovals, road courses, and a street course (next year’s street course will be at the naval base in Coronado). Also, over the years NASCAR have changed their race format where they run stages now like quarters in Basketball where F1 runs the entire race without Stages. Also NASCAR now has a Championship format 26 race regular season and 10 race elimination playoff to determine the championship where F1 just adds up all their points all year long and whoever the point leader is at the end of the season is your champion. Also F1 racing you have to use more can’t be as near as aggressive racing as you can with NASCAR. NASCAR you are able to beat and bang with each other within reason. Also, team orders to help a teammate win can happen in F1. The team orders to help a teammate like that is considered race manipulation in NASCAR and can’t do it the most that you can do to help your teammate is race someone as hard as you can to help a teammate or race them cleaner. Where teammates come in crucial are practice and qualifying in NASCAR teammates are able to share data and setups if someone on their team is really struggling.
