I love when the T-Rex chases them in the jeep, Jeff Goldblum improvises the line "Must go faster", a line and feat he'd do again 3 years later in Independence Day!

I saw this movie 5 times in its first run at the theaters and I didn’t catch Mr Arnold’s arm on Ellie till the 3rd time😭

Only JP '93 EXISTS IN THE JURASSIC DOJO!! All the bleh sequels are Triceratops poop (especially the dumb JWorld entries).

I'm a little late to this one, but I have a fun personal tidbit to share! So.. in college, I decided to take a class called "Evolution of Dinosaurs" or something along those lines. Thought it would be a throwaway "fun" elective, but I didn't realize that the professor was none other than Dr. David Weishampel... a legit paleontologist, FRIEND of Steven Spielberg, and consultant on this movie!! He even received an Academy (yes, *that* academy) scientific & technical award for his work. Also, he literally wrote the textbook we were studying from! (you can google him and easily find his info). It was one of the best class experiences I've ever had the pleasure of attending. He was very engaging, and we learned so much about dinosaurs and their evolutionary trees, including how certain groups evolved into the birds we know today. The kicker was that as interesting as the class was, our last "classroom" day before finals we spent watching this exact movie. This was advertised beforehand, and half the class ended up skipping, apparently not caring about watching Jurassic Park (what effing losers, right?) Turns out, the entire final exam was based on the movie and what happens in it, to weed out people who attended the class vs who didn't, thinking it would be an easy grade. Definitely one of my coolest college experiences.

Thanks for answering my silly question! I didn’t realise you were going to answer it during the first movie’s reaction. I liked it feeling more like an interactive experience. (I did kind of assume Greg and Tara would have watched almost all of the movies by the time they got to the questions, so it might have seemed oddly phrased, sorry!) I love these movies so much and the reaction was so good. Getting to hear thoughts from the filmmaker’s perspective on it was great. I also really loved your answers to the ‘if we could do it now’ question. I think in a weird way I’m ok with the idea of bringing back animals we’ve hunted to extinction and keeping them in a zoo/wildlife reserve. They do make me feel sad for the animals being kept, but at the same time, I think of how some animals only exist today because we have them in zoos. It makes me so angry watching trophy hunters killing animals in the wild just to take a photo.
