I remember waiting for this movie to come out and it did not disappoint. A gorgeous and ambitious film. At the time I was really hoping they would make a sequel about Old Town, where the sex workers ran the block. Still a good idea.

2025-05-09 19:41:53 +0000 UTCPanasonic 4K blu-ray players are so good at handling black levels on regular blu-rays. This movie on an OLED looks INSANE on one of them. Highly recommend. The black really just disappears and all the white and color pops off the screen. I’m gonna smoke a big one and watch this tonight.
