This was the MI film I saw the most in cinemas (IMAX multiple times) until MI:Fallout. Team Character matched the films themes of the Ghost Arc with MI Agents all struggling to find their way at a crucial time for the IMF. So I disagree chat/Tara & Aron - MI:4 is far superior to the vastly overrated MI:3, it has waayyyyy higher stakes (with no stupid Mystery Box Abrams stuff) the pacing is great, the INSANE Dubai sequence is one of the best ever, with great directed/edited unique intense tasks ALL THE WAY THROUGH - from the Kremlin break-in to the Mumbai vertical carpark. To me franchise TRULY takes flight with Brad Bird and his FANTASTIC MI: Ghost Protocol (still my 2nd MI fave after my #1 Fallout) GP is THE PERFECT BRIDGE film of this franchise. Taking the best ingredients of the first 3 films and leading MI into the Chris McQuarrie helmed (more serious) Syndicate Saga, that have all been excellent so far as MI: Final Reckoning is finally here :)

2025-05-03 08:22:35 +0000 UTCThis remains my favorite M:I movie, though I adore them all..And it is not a spoiler for any upcoming entry to state that Ethan had been communicating with Max from the original movie…He is picked up in the same fashion by the intimidating, long-haired blonde guy needing a light…It’s implied at the end of the first movie that Kittridge would allow Max to continue her endeavors under the umbrella of the IMF…Bongdan’s cousin confirm’s it when he says old friends helping new friends…Now’s the time to buckle up and pay attention with the rest of the entries…Because they expect you know the franchise is episodic from this moment forward…😉🥰
