The Last Of Us 2x3 - WATCH ALONG!! (N00bs React)

I'm not gonna lie, I loved watching S1 with this crew and the last couple of episodes, but I had a hard time watching this reaction and ended up watching the last half of the episode by myself and stopped playing your reaction. Maybe it bothered me more because it was a first watch for me unlike S1, but the constant talking back and forth through the episode trying to figure out what was going to happen next... "I wonder if Ellie will... Maybe they are gonna... I bet..." I found myself shushing you guys so I could watch it. Maybe I'll come back after I've watched all the episodes. I'm sorry

I hope this is not considered a spoiler, but I want the girls in particular (because they are understandably struggling to feel hope considering the darkness of the show) to know that there is a lot of stuff character wise that they will appreciate and will give them a sense hope. I say that because I struggled with the seemingly constant darkness of the second game as well (despite the first being my favorite piece of media all time) but by the end, you will feel more full filled than you guys do right now

I'm still listening to the wrap up.... but Roxy talking about not feeling the love or the hope, anymore after episode 2, really resonated with me. Not for this story but for my experience with The Walking Dead. After everything post prison/Woodbury though the 6th season in Alexandria, by the Finale with Neegan showing up... there was no hope anymore for me in that story. I walked away. And I've watched back through and I stop before that point because it just feels bad. I'm not saying to stop watching TLoU... I won't spoil anything. I'm just saying I get that feeling and I hope everyone keeps watching, bc if the show continues to track the game like it has (not beat for beat, but theme for theme), it's a good story. It hurts... a lot sometimes... but it's a good story.
