INTENSE! And another great episode from Amanda Broache who directed "Lux" - Aliens + The Thing + Doctor Who Midnight Monster! Dug the Orbital Drop Troops (ala HALO which riffs Aliens) and the team/Doctor trying figure out Aliss' plight! "Nuke the sight from orbit." was a nice touch along with the ending eek!!

2025-04-27 16:05:46 +0000 UTCPersonally, I look at it like Blink vs. Tume of the Angels/Flesh and Stone. Weeping angels were never as scary as they were in that first episode. The more Moffat went to that well, the less impact they had. The more they add to the lore, the more diluted it becomes over all. Still a great episode, just worried this may become RTD's Weeping Angels.

2025-04-27 14:40:04 +0000 UTCI am not proud of the actual out loud scream I made when she said the planet was Midnight, I had chills throughout this episode, also Ncuti Gatwa's face when he realised the creature was communicating with him similar to how it did in with David Tennant, just incredible stuff
