The internal depth of taking on a role was exposed here. It immediately made me think of the crazy place i had to go mentally to play Anthony from Anthony and Cleopatra - he’s absolutely nuts and Portman’s performance just nails that degree of crazy you take yourself. This is one of my all time favorite movies - rewatched so many times 🙏
