2024-04-20 17:53:09 +0000 UTCi would have LOVED a wayward sisters show. i like all of the girls and of course i love jody and donna so it would have been super cool to be able to see their characters fleshed out properly. and maybe we could finally have a woman in the show not die for dean and sams benefit

2024-01-25 07:44:10 +0000 UTCI have to agree with Toasted Toad. I feel like a lot of the fandoms affection for this episode is because of their love for Jody and Donna. A spinoff featuring those two could have been amazing. Just on a quick side note, I actually really enjoyed the prequel and the actors who starred in it. I know the fandom is divided but I was one of the ones that liked it.

2024-01-25 03:44:59 +0000 UTCYeah, and instead we got a "prequel" that nobody asked, that wasn't actually a prequel, with a convoluted plot and familiar brand name characters not played by the actors who actually made them (nor by the capable young actors from the actual prequel episodes).

And their biggest mistake was not realising what they had - the marketable stars, the ones that the SPN community wanted, were Jody and Donna, not Claire & co. And they also forgot the comedic spark between the two women because they were too busy trying to make good younger generation girls. And even there, they swung and missed. Just when they gave themselves the opportunity for a gay romance, which the large LGBTQ following would have turned up in droves for, they chickened out. But god forbid they have a spin off centred around two mature, badass women.
