Chapter 94 of Shrouded Destiny (SD) is out for Squires!

Welp, finally back to a more moderately-sized chapters. One final bit of action. And thus ends Shrouded Destiny's main storyline. Next will be the epilogues*(no more than three of them this time, gotta downsize a bit!)

I might have missed some things, but I believe I covered most of the things without diving too much into minutia. This ending feels like a far bigger struggle to write than DW's one, but considering the changes are far more drastic, it shouldn't be such a surprise. Let me know what you think!

Spoiler alert - new political map of Westeros(obviously the small territorial details are often wrong and dubious at best, but it indicates the large changes in the kingdoms the best)!

That being said you can read the previous chapters in the collection!

Nicely done

We'll see from him in the next part of the Epilogue. So this Sunday.

A much better filler chapter than the last one. I especially enjoyed the talk between Jon Steelsong and Aegon Blackfyre. Also found the afterword enjoyable. But now I'm waiting for the last parts of Jon's story. And what about Garland?

Omar Syed

makes sense. really loved this story and I will keep an eye out for your next work

Your HP story still has me pretty hooked, and I'm certainly interested in seeing what you do with the next series you write!

SwiftFate

Cheers, hope you find what you're looking for!

Gladiusx

I love the way you ended things. You have a great way of writing historians and their thoughts.

Herr_Merkel

I'm impressed with this ending. This fic was huge and you managed to end it satisfactorily. Great work.

Not gonna lie, I kind of lost interest in this series as it moved away from Jon. Was looking for moremof a jon-centric empire building type story but it didn't really tickle those needs. That being said, it was well written and something to read on the side. But I think I'm done with asoif fics for a while. Been craving more Harry Potter stories and DC inserts. Thanks for your work mate

Looking over the map, couldn't help but notice that the Isle is Faces is gray - slick.

I think he should stay in Kings Landing, unless only Ned was in the know, I would have expected him and Tommen to have at least interacted a few times during the essos arc. Considering they're "half brothers" with plenty of shared combat experience, if I were Tommen I'd give him a gold cloak officer or other such position in the red keep. Knight him of course, give him a plot of land, and keep a nice cordial relationship with him.

Archimedes

It's Nature vs Nurture. Certainly, Tommen is born of awful circumstances, but he seemed to be of sound mind and was molded into someone of character by Eddard. Edit: Hopefully Ned is rid of his ancestor's pestering.

Thanks for the chapter

Yeah Ned really just needed to go home. Didn’t want the intrigue that came with being Hand. Didn’t want the wars in Essos. Come back home and guess what…more war. All of that for a man who was just supposed to be a spare. He did well. He deserves to go home and just lay in his bed.

Based_Bass

They joined tommen's side early where the huge reach army was still in tact and things looked grim. Big loyal work horses for this war, plus they're married into the starks and now Lannisters. I'm all for it, Prince Edmure has a nice ring to it lol

Omg it’s fantastic that we got Jon as Regent for a time! I’m sure he made everyone regret forcing him down south with their rebellions LMAO I felt like Ned made the hard but pragmatic choice by sticking with Tommen as King. I never considered he’d expose his parentage seriously, it just wouldn’t be the right choice. It makes sense he would choose to burden himself and his circle with the truth to spare the lives of thousands more. Of course it breaks my heart a little that it clearly wore him down so much.. but Ned has been hard at work since chapter one! He deserves to retire and go home at last. The Martells really lost in a big way! I’m surprised the Tully’s got such high honors but I guess they really expended a lot of resources for Tommen’s throne. Can’t wait for the next part and the new story you’ve got cooking

Happy

I’m imagining Val in the King’s court. HAH! They really wouldn’t be ready for a barbarian queen.

Based_Bass

Great way to end it I hope you take a break before you start the next one

Bertram K Reese

Very nice

Gor Yanâd Azaghâl

How many heads did Val need to shave in Kingslanding? Lol

I gotta say, this story was totally worth subscribing for. I also love to see a fanfic where Jon is genuinely a cunning uber-badass but still wise enough to not take a crown. Cuz ffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck that shit. Better to just head home a start making a small legion of Wargs with his barbarian-queen wife.

MehOhWell

Yeah. I could see him either being one of Ned’s retainers. However being in the Crownlands would make him closer to his wife’s family.

Velyndin1989

Still feeling torn between having him be part of the Crownlands/royal court or the North. He hasn't accumulated enough achievement to become anything beyond a landed knight, but that's significant on its own considering he was a Blacksmith's apprentice two years ago.

Gladiusx

Nice! What happened to Gendry?
