And the winner is...
Added 2018-01-12 16:41:15 +0000 UTCA few days ago, I asked the Producers to help select from a few (albeit very similar) camera angles for an upcoming shot.
We had a clear winner in the form of shot #3
I may be biased here, but I think you guys chose well.
Rendering is done, and it's in the queue for the postwork finishing touches.
I did notice #3 was the only version where the eye didn't quite catch the light in reflection. I don't like to cheat with the lighting too much, but am probably gonna be adding a subtle little reflection in, otherwise, at full size the eye(s) looked a little flat. I think I've come up with a good technique to add a decent looking after effect in by hand, but yet to try it on this image.
Will be working more over the weekend and really looking forward to rolling out the next few images.
