Picking your Brains..

Hello People, Feb was a quiet month on the Patreon site as you may have noticed, which is partly related to my question to you guys, but I feel like I could do with some input from you guys, the guys who support this work as it directly affects us both.

Currently, commissions have been taking up a lot of time, and although I don't feel like pushing up my prices, I still need to earn enough to make up for the hours I spend over the month, so I'm proposing posting commissioned work here in exchange for your donations.

But hey, wait! Isn't that a dick move, charging twice?  Why should We, the People, be contributing towards someone else''s commission request?

Good question, and it's why I'm asking you guys.  My main response would be that I don't charge a lot for the commission work I do.  I feel it's the only way I can continue to take on the odd commission and maintain the hours and level of detail I like to work at while still remaining reasonably priced.   I don't really take on non-TF subject matter so you'll still be getting similar themed works as before, and not a series of fruit & veg stills.

I'd like to hear your thoughts on this before I go ahead and start to upload (new) commissioned works here.  You guys are the supporters and without you, I don't have business, so it's important to me that you guys get your say.  If you have any thoughts or questions, please come forth as I'm looking forward to getting back to work!

Best wishes and many thanks to you all!

Thanks. Yeah, I tend to release stuff earlier here on Patreon

If it means anything, a lot of people uses their Patreon not only as an exclusive art access.... but also a "preview site" where they release other works(like commissions), say, one or two weeks early before releasing them anywhere else.

as long as the price dont go crazy, i'd be happy to pay more too

Smart17

I'd be very happy to pay extra

I am in favor of more content

If the commissioner is okay with it, why not? I'd be cool with it if it was what I had asked for. Anything to keep the artist going, right?

I don´t think there´s a morality issue here, if the commissioner has no problem with you doing that, then go for it! Just let him/her know first when discussing the commission charges, etc.

I am happy to throw money at you tbh morally its up to you I think
