Broker Species Pack for Stellaris

Here's our second species pack for the game Stellaris. This one is based on the Brokers, and features fully animated models with up to 72 different combinations of skin patterns, crests, tentacles, and more! Now you can become the CEO of your very own squid megacorp. Build drones, trade with aliens, engage in war and diplomacy, force your employees to talk to each other.

This mod was made by Etiluos, and you can download the mod and see their other custom species packs over here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3294387698

Don't forget to check out their previous Pinwheel species mod, the Valbarans: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2388203904

Thats 2 down. One day there could be an entire pinwheel universe match of stellaris with all of the relevant species set up for it.

Yeah it's fine for them to post it to their Patreon as long as they're not charging money for people to access it. Eg: it can't be locked to a paid tier, it has to be free and available to everyone.

Snekguy

great, the person was going to release them publicly as well, so ill give the go ahead if thats okay

As long as the work is original and you're not doing readings of my existing stories, that's no problem. It depends how this person is being paid. If you're commissioning them privately, and that's the only money changing hands, that's fine. If they're posting the work to their Patreon and charging money for other people to access it, I unfortunately can't permit that. In order to protect my copyright, I'm not able to let other people charge for access to or sell derivative works without some kind of contract. If they wanted to post the content on their Patreon and it's free to the public, that would be okay.

It's a pleasant surprise to see another Pinwheel species modded into Stellaris, the artist did a fantastic job!

Kracker

Good to hear, wasnt meaning to do readings, just creating with your characters and worldsetting, and ofc youll be credited. And about selling it, i wanted someone else on patreon to be able to draw inspiration from your works, she gets paid for this through patreon, does this go against your wishes?

Noximilien l'Horloger

I'm happy for people to create fanfiction stories and artwork based on Pinwheel as long as they credit me and they don't sell the work, but I don't allow people to do readings of the stories on Youtube channels for example, as that devalues my audiobooks.

Snekguy

Not related to any of this, butt are others alowed to create stories from your universe? Like erotica audios?

Noximilien l'Horloger

really awesome work! it'd be cool to get some more of these type of mods for stellaris, it was already pretty sick to play as the Valbarans

Hmm I see

At least in the Pinwheel setting, it took them 28 years to allow one human to enter Trappist, and that was only because of an emergency. They're more friendly with the Krell, but they have their own history together. Even among their own kind, they're not very social. I haven't actually played Stellaris so I don't know if xenophobe has different connotations in-game but it seemed like a fitting trait.

Snekguy

Oh wow, amazing!

Hmm wait are they inherently xenophobic or was it because of their interactions with the bugs?
