Devlog #9. Journey Begins?

Hey everyone! It's time to talk about what we've been up to this past week and what's currently in development.

• Development of the "Journey" mode is finally nearing completion.

• We've created a ton of new art for the new mode.

• Two NSFW scenes (including a couple of fetishes you asked for) have been drawn and sent to animation.

• We found and fixed a couple more nasty bugs (thanks to your bug reports on Discord and Patreon).

And since the "Journey" mode is nearing release, we'd like to tell you a bit more about it.

Currently, the game offers one way to earn resources for missions and Academy restoration - mini-games in the Sawmill and Mine. By adding a new mode, we want to give you an alternative, as well as add a new resource that can only be obtained there.

The gameplay itself is divided into several stages:

• You prepare for the "Journey" by placing items you might need in your inventory (inventory size is limited).

• You choose the size and type of world you want to go to.

• You are sent to a randomly generated world, according to the selected type, consisting of zones with different levels of "danger".

• For a limited number of turns (which you can increase), you explore this world.

• During the journey, you will encounter in-game events where you will have to make choices.

• The results of these choices can be various loot, battles with enemies, resource exchange, or other outcomes for you to discover yourself.

• When your turns are up, you'll be pulled back into the Academy world, and all the items you've acquired will be converted into resources that will be sent to your warehouse.

Some "Journeys" will have special goals, such as getting specific items at specific locations, battling bosses, or hunting for specific resources.

We're trying to come up with interesting mechanics and events so that each of you can experience your own unique "Journeys."

We'll tell you more about the mechanics closer to the release of update 0.2.
