Suddenly LOTR fanart

I've recently rewatched the Lord of the Rings trilogy and I cried so hard, because of all of the feels, and the beauty and the music and the nostalgia. It was my first serious fandom, even before the Haryy Potter, that's where I met my husband and mnay friends.

But at those times, russian LOTR fandom was very homophobic and I remember NOT DARING to say I wanted to shop Aragorn and Legolas because I would be immediately shamed and hated and crused for "this abomination of canon".

And now, when I m much older and stronger, and less dependant on other people's opinion, and the world changed so much since then, I decided to give myself this ship...even if it's almost 20 years late.

I was thinking what a different world we would live in if it has been more diversem if there could be an LGBTQ ship just everywhere in any story and it wouldn't be a WOW factor. Just...part of the story.

I really hope to live to see those days.

And this is just a nostalgic gift from me to myself and I hope you will like it too.
