Over the next couple of days, I'll bounce from gathering to gathering where I'll be asked by people I only see a few times a year what I'm thankful for, and I'll have to do my best to give a trite, cliché response about having a roof over my head and a family I love (both of which are wonderful, mind you) without giving away my little secret. So just to make it clear, let me get this off my chest here, where it is appropriate to be genuine.

I have never, ever, in my nearly-28 years of existence, been more thankful for anything than that I can be right here, doing something I love, making people happy, enjoying the company of friends, clients, players, and fellow artists/devs, every single day of my life, and getting paid enough to live comfortably while doing it.

There is not a day that goes by where I am not awed by your generosity, my incredible fortune, and how humble and thankful I should be to be where I am. I never, ever take this for granted, and I hope I never will.

The past two years of my life have been a strange, wonderful, fulfilling journey, and it is only possible because so many of you have chosen to support the things you enjoy and the people who make them.
