GROWTH Quest - Short

What if what happened to you in the video games started to affect you in real life???

Here is the start of a short story. Our main character, Stephen, has built his Avatar to start playing a mysterious video game that showed up in his mail.

-

I am all over the place with ideas, and I am using this opportunity to try to let my creativity roam free so I can better tackle my anxiety/depression.

At this moment, I ask for grace and support to create muscle content freely. I have been stuck in my creative space lately, with no way to move around. Spreading out my ideas and working on bits of things here and there has opened up my creative block, and I feel things are flowing again.

I am still producing content, but it may not be as linearly as usual. I took a substantial financial hit last month because I was stuck creatively, and I am reeling from that - as in many people jumped ship, and I'm unsure what to do.

Your support is the sole reason I can create the quality artwork you have come to expect, but there doesn't seem to be much grace if I am not a "machine" about it.

This makes me think of the game Altered Beast. That game may be root cause of my muscle growth fetish. So. Good!

I totally agree! I went solo with Patreon in 2020 so this is the bread and butter. It’s as much a business endeavor as it is a creative one 😊

I mostly run my own patreon to support other creators. That puts me in a somewhat enviable position where I get a reasonably consistent stream of updates from a rotation of patreons. Sorry to hear that you've had a contraction of membership, its always frustrating but I think the long-term goal is to slowly build up a core of fans rather than worrying over hoppers or one-day looky-loos.

Great premise.

I love the concept of what if the video game changed you IRL. Brings me back to years ago to getting off on the protagonist in Fable getting huge if you focused on his strength build.

Not for that, just wish I could do more :/

Thank you!!! 🥰

I am very sorry to hear that. Had to reduce my financial contribution to you a while ago unfortunately due to my PhD contract not being extended, but I didn't want to stop supporting you as best I can, especially during this difficult time. Love your work, and you can't always "enforce" art according to a strict timeline. Take your time! I at least will be happy to (patiently) see what you have got in store for us in the future :)
